The Regul.,r Konthly is etine of the City Council met in the Council Rooms of the City Hail, with
the Mayor, 0. L. Crjokham, Jr., presiding.
On Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present Sloop, Eason, Olesen, Thornock, Burrell,
and McNeill.
Minutes of November 4th, and 22nd, were read andapproved as read.
The Bills for November were read and on motion by Sloop, seconded by Burrell that these kills be

allowed and 'Sarrants ordered drawn for the various amounts all of which had been approved by the Finance
( Committee. Motian carried.

The Caldwell Sales & Commission Co., presented a petition to the Mayor and "o.u:cil petitioning
ermission to construct a Sales Yard and Pavillion on Fractional Block 64, Foote Addition; Fractional Block
I and Block 2 City Addition, located between 15th and 16th Streets and between Chicago Street and the alley

Moved by Sloop, seconded by Mason that this petition be granted. Motion carried.

It was moved by Burrell, seconded by Olesen that the following Resolution beadopted:
WHEREAS, It appears to be equitable and necessary under existing economic conditions that certain
' j salaries and wages of the employees of the City of Caldwell which are not otherwise set and determined by
Ordinance should be adjusted by the Fayor and Council of the city of Caldwell:
N0I THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:

Section 1. That the salaries and wages paid and to be paid to those employees in the following
designated positions be adjusted in accordance with the following schedule:

three separate days be suspended and Bill No 21, be read the second time by title and the third time in full
section by section and placed on the final passage. The rayor directed the Clerk to call the roll on the
above motion with the following result: Those voting in the affiimiative were; Sloop, F=ason, Olesen,
(Burrell, Thornock and McNeill. Negative; None. Absent and not voting: None. The Mayor declared the moLion
had passed by the necessary three- fourtha majority and directed the Clerk to read Bill No 21, the second
time title and the third time in full section by section. The Clerk read the Bill as directed. The
question being °Shall Bill No 21, pass? The Mayor directed the Clerk to call the roll on the above question

Thereupon the Nayor declared Bill No 21,
had passed and the Mayor
in open session of the Council

No 688, The ZIayer directed the Clerk to make proper entry of the same and
to cause Ordinance No 688, to be
published in the Caldwell News- Tribune the oiiicial
newspaper of the City of
Caldwell, Idaho.
