COUNCIL CHAMBERS, NOVEMBER 21, 1 932

The City Council met on call of the Mayor, with the Mayor, Fred L. Lilly, presiding
On Roll Cali, the following Councilmen answered present: M. S. Sandmeyer, A. G. let
ter
C. E. Bales, 0. M. Johnston, Joe Dickens and E. L. Vassar.

Stewart Maxey ,:having been authorized by John D. Finck, made a bid of 50.00 for
the real Estate as described in Resolution No, 15.
The Clark read'Resolution No. 16 by 0. E. Bales as follows:
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF JOHN D. FINCK FOR TEE PURCHASE OF
CERTAIN REAL EBdSTE PROPERTY BELONGNNG TO THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A DEED TO SAID JOHN D. 'FINCK THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, by proper resoluti

determined to sell certain real property not need ad or used for municipal p)xrposes, and
WHEREAS, Notice of intention to sell said property has been published in the
Caldwell News-Tribune,-the official nave paper of said City, on the 10th and 17th days of
November, 1932, calling for bide for said- property, and
WHEREAS, John D: Finck, of Caldwell, Idaho, has bid the sum of 50.00 for
said property, which Bum was the only and best bid received therefor,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Mayor and Council of the City of
Caldwell, Idaho;
Section 1, That the bid�of John D, Finok in the sum of $ 50.00 for that carts,

real property hereinafter described, be and the same is hereby accepted.
Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Caldwell; Idaho are
hereby authorixed and directed to execute a dedd to said John D. Finck for'said property.
Section 3. That said property is described as follows, to -wit:
.Beginning at a point which is south sixteen (16) degrees and fiftyAthree
(53) minutes west an 457 .5 feet from the Northeast (NE) corner of Section
Twenty8two (22), Township Your (4) North of Range Three (3) West of the
Boise Meridian; Thence South forty (40) degrees and twenty -seven (27) minutes
east 152 .5 feet to a point on the east line of Indiana Avenue; thence North
seventy -nine (79) de roes and thirty -five {35) minutes west 196.6 feet; theno
north forty -nine (49 degrees and thirty -three (33) minutes east 123.9 feet t
the point of beginning, and containing 0.22 of an more more or less, all in
the the City of Caldwell, County of Canyon, State of Idaho,
PASSED by the Council this 219t, day Of November,' 1932.

Moved by Sandmeyer and Seconded by Johnston that Resolution No. 16 be adoptect and
that the above described real property be sold•to the said John D. Finck for the sum of
Fifty ( $50.00 ) Dollars.
. On Roll call, the followinf Councilmen voted in favor of the above motion: M. S.
Sandmeyer, A. G. Kedster, 0. E. Bales, 0. M. Johnston, Joe Dickens and E. L. Vassar. Those
opposed, None. Absent and not voting, None.
The Mayor then declared the above Resolution carried by the necessary IJ a ,
Moved by Sandmeyer and Seconded by Dickens that the_ City__Treasurer be and he here-
by is authorized to invest any of the moneys in the Cemetery Perpetual Sinking Fund in Oit
Warrants necessary to take up Warrants that may be issued in the immediate future.
Motion Carried
Moved by Vassar and seconded by Keister that this Council tend adjourned.
