HomeMy WebLinkAbout1916-11-20city council minutes113 A motion was made by Ackley, seconded Hayman, that the resolution be adopted. The roll being called on the motion, the vote resulted: Ayes - Ackley, Dement, Hayman, Sanberg, hard -5. idayes - hone. Absent - Forbes -1. The Llayor declared the motion carried and the resolution adopted. A communication under date of iovember 6, 1916, signed by li. H. Winter et - al, complaining of the oondition of Arthur Street and of a number of the buildings situated thereon, was read. It was voted upon motion of Ackley that the same be referred to the Chief of Police with power to act. It was voted upon motion of Councilman Ackley, seconded Councilman Hayman, that the monthly salaries of the men regularly employed by the - tre•.t Commissioner be increased to $75.00 per month beginning October 1, 1916. The Mayor announced the appointment o±' :' ouncilman :ard as Chairman of the water committee. No further business appearing before the meeting, the meeting was on motion of Ackley, and duly seconded, adjorned until Idonday evening, November 20th., 1916, at B o'clock.
