The Meeting was called to order by Mayor Nancolas.
City Council members present: Blacker, Oates, Hopper, Callsen, Dakan, and Sobba.
Staff members present: Fire Chief Mark Wendelsdorf, Deputy Chief Brad Trosky, and other members
of the Fire Department.
(ITEMS OUTLINED BY STAFF)
• Workshop was held for the purpose of a presentation by Emergency Services Consulting
concerning collaborative efforts between the City of Caldwell Fire Department, Canyon County,
and the Caldwell and Middleton Rural Fire Districts.
(ITEMS OUTLINED BY STAFF)
• A presentation was given on the findings of Emergency Services Consulting (ESC) and areas of
opportunity for cooperative effectors between the three agencies.
• ESC addressed a number of cost avoidance items and how these cooperative efforts could improve
the level of services provided to the public and safer responses for all agencies.
