jourmment with Mayor Griffiths presiding and Councilmen Adam, Adams, Bardaley, Harri
ton, Zeh present; Fhorb,clerk.
Bill No.32 by Zeh, entitled. "An Ordinance establishing a free public librar
and reading room for the city of Caldwell, accepting donations therefore and creating
and setting aside a library fund" was read the first time.
A motion was made by Zeh, that the rules be suspended and that the readings
on three separate days be dispensed with and that Bill No. 32 be read the second time
by title and the third time in full and placed on its final passage. The roll being
called on the vote resultedt
Ayes- Adam, Adams, Bardaley, Harrington, Zeh -5.
Nays- None.
Absent- Steunenberg. So the motion prevailed.
Bill No. 32 read second time by title.
Bill No. 32 read third time in full and placed on its final passage.
On the question shall Bill No. 32 paas7 the roll being called the vote resulted3
Ayes- Adam, Adams, Bardaley, Harrington, Zeh -5.
Nays- None
Absent- Steunenberg. So Bill No.32 paased,becoming Ordinance No. 227.
Voted, on motion of Zeh, that the following be permitted to receive instructi
in running the Auto Chemical fire engines Soverign, Dalaine, Terry, Walrodt, Brooke,
and Rosa.
Voted, on motion of Zeh, that Council adjourn until Monday e7g4 ng, November
25, 1912 at 7130 o'clock.
