The Mayor appointed the following Committee to meet with the Pioneer Irrigation Board and discuss
renewal of contract: Councilman FenriA as Chairman, Councilman Bettis, H. E. Parmenter, L. M. P
C. L. Bourland and John Turner.
The City Attorney informed the Mayor and Council that Frank Darling had requested that Willow III
Street be opened between Indiana Avenue and Ohio.
The Mayor instructed the City Attorney to investigate the opening of Willow Street and if he
found it advisable to prepare the necessary papers.
Thereupon Councilman Burrell introduced Bill No. 13, entitled: II,
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A MUNICIPAL RECREATION HOARD TO BE KNOYN AS THE , CALDVIELL RECREATION
BOABD,e WHICH WILL PLAN RECOM67_ND PERSONNEL, AND SUPERVISE THE CITY OF CALDWELL SUMMER RECREATION PROGRAM
EACH YEAR, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR AMID COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL.

time in full section by section and placed on the final nassage. The Mayor directed the Clerk to call the

The Council met pursuant to call and acknowledgement of notice in the following form,
We, the undersigned Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Calavcll, Idaho, do
each hereby acknowledge notice of a special meeting of said City Council to be held at the Council Chambers
in the City Hall in the City of Caldwell, Idaho, at the hour of B:rvJ o'clock P. Y. on the 17th, day of
November, 1950, for the transaction of all business in connection with the following object: Authorizing
Social Security for City Empkoyees, which object was submitted to each of the mndersigned in writing.

The Mayor informed the Council the meeting was called to take up the matter of Social Security
for City Employees.
This matter was thoroughly discussed by the Mayor and Council.
Whereupon Council Myers moved that the necessary steps be taken to provide Social Security for
