The City Council met pursuant to a published notice for the purpose 6f-hearing protests to the proposed amendments of the Zoning Ordinance with the Mayor 91.R. Hollings- worth presiding.' On Roll Call the following Councilmen andwered present: Edgar L. Oakes, F.D. Mumford, G, Y. Fenrich, W. L . Babcock. Absent.- Norvil T; Hinds and V. F. Odle. M. D. Riner and Gordon Gipson appeared before the Mayor and Council and asked that the proposed Zoning Ordinance be changed so as to include certain property in the weet and of town which had heretofore been included in "B" Zone be included in !'A" Zone and property heretofore included In "Unrdstricted '- Zone be included in - 'B - ' Zone, Mr. Hinds entered and was marked present, Mr. Odle entered and was marked present. The Mayor appointed Councilman Odle as Chairman of the Park Committee, member of the Cemetery Committee and member of the Park Commission. Moved by Babcock, a econded by Fenrich that these appointments be confirmed. Motion carried. Fire Chief, Doyle Fenderasked the City to purchase a fire mask for the Fire Department.
