Council met in regular session pursuant to adjournment with Mayor Griffiths, presiding, and Councilmen Adam, Adams, Bardsley, Steunenberg and Zeh, present; Shorb, clerk. Communication from the Carnegie Library corporation with respect to the Library Building was read and referred to the library committee. Resignation of T. E. Walker, councilman from Third ward was read and, on motion of Adams, accepted. Voted, on motion of Zeh, that the City Clerk be instructed to redeem late 4 and 5 of Black 19, O.T. from tax sale by county and Pioneer Irrigation District, and to pay interest to the amount of $18.33 on mortgage on said lots. Amount to redeem from county $28.45 and Pioneer Irrigation District, $2.65 warrants were ordered drawn on the general fund. Voted; on motion of Bardeley, that the claim of R. N. Beatty, in the sum of $469,38, for cement sidewalks, be allowed and a warrant ordered drawn on the general fund for the amount. Voted, on motion of Adam, that a warrant in tae sum of $347.30, be drawn on the road fund for freight on the road roller. Voted, on motion of Bardsley, that we proceed to open bids for the care and keep of the autochemical fire extinguisher., The following bids were opened& City Ball Bids Orel H. Soverign, to furnish one man at City Hall, including janitor work, $70.00 per month. Orel H. Soverign, 2 men in garage, oil and gasoline included, $90.00 without oil and gasoline, $80.00. Ed Delain, including janitor work, $75.00 per month. G. H. Fuller, one man to act as janitor of City Hall and fireman, $85.00 per month. Garage Bide Grimmett Auto Co., special stall, 2 men, gasoline etc., not included, $100,00 per month. Orel H. Soverign, special stall, 2 men, oil and gasoline included,t100.00 per month, $9000 without oil and gasoline. Voted, on motion of Zeh, that a certified check in the sum of $8,950 be drawn on the American National Bank in favor of The Webb Co., and that the same be held by t, City Clerk to be delivered on order of the city council. Voted, on motion of Bardsley, that Council adjourn, until Wednesday, November 12, 1912, at 7:30 p.m. �J J J J A * O 4 City Clerk.
