HomeMy WebLinkAbout1949-11-10city council minutes`/ 99 COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 14OVEMBER 10, 1949, 8,00 P. 1% 0 The Council met pursuant to call and aci:nowledgemant of noti.ce in the following forms CALL AND ACRNO'NLEDaEMENT OF NOTICE We, the undersigned, Mayor and memuers oi the City Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, do each hereby acknowledge notice of a special meeting of said City Council to be held at the council chambers in the City Hall in the City of Caldwell, Idea o, at the hour of 8o'clock P. M., on the 10th, day of November, 1949, for the transaction of all business in connection with the following object: The opening of bids for a rock crushing plant which object has been submitted to each of the undersigned in writing. WITNESS our sismatures this 10th, day of November. 190. Councilman Con nci]�nai Council Co (/ ounc -- UounC IL On Roll Call the following councilmen answered present: L. E. Burrell, John Myers, Dale Fenrich and Bryan Herding. Absent Wm Glaisyer and F. L. Blomq: :ist. Mayor Leo J. Mason, presiding. The Mayor informed the Council this was the time set for the opening of bids on a rock crushing plant. The following bids were opened and read: Feenaughty Machinery Co., 6 21,735.00 Engineering Sales Service Inc., 8 20,000,00 Intermountain Equipment Co., 21,996.00 The Mayor and Council proceeded to consider the above bids and it was found that the bid of Engineering Sales Co., was the most advantageous bid received for the purchase of a rock crushing plant. Thereupon it was moved by Councilman Burrell, seconded by Councilman Penrich that the bid of Engineering Sales Co., be accepted. A "Yea" and "Nay" vote was had thereon with the following result: "Yea ": Burrell, Myers, Fenri and Harding: "Nay": None. Absent and not voting: Glaisyer and Blomquistl Thereupon the Mayor declared the motion carried. There being no further business to come uefore the Council, it was moved by Councilmai Harding, seconded by Councilman Myers that Council adjourn. Motion carried. i t Mayor, City Clerk. COUNCIL CHAMBERS, DECEMBER 5th, 1949, 8 :00 P. M. The Regular Monthly Meeting of the City Council met in the Council Rooms of the City Hall, with Mayor Leo J. Mason, presiding. Upon Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present: Wm Glaisyer, L. E.Burrell, John Myers, Fran Blomquist and Dale Fenrich. Absents Bryan Harding. A petition was presented to the Mayor and Council by A. L. Gray for the cancellation of certain Sprinkling Assessments. RESOLUTION BY Councilmn Glaisyer, It was moved by Councilman Glaisyer, seconded by Councilmen Burrell that the following resolution be adopted:
