Li !J L the Regular Tjonthly Meeting of the City Council met in the Council Room of the ty gall, with the Mayor, Edgar L. O presiding, On Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present; W.E.Babcock, C, 0. Me- nnel, Oscar Stengel, 7, M. Fenrich and M,S,Sandmeyer, Absent W.B. Handford, The Minutes of October 2nd, and 10th, were read and approved as read. Mrs.W.W.Waterman appeared before the Council requested that the City make an justment on the September water bill at 807 Dearborn. This matter was referred to the ter"Department. Cameron Kirkpatrick and Fonnie Hall appeared before the Mayor and Council and requested the City to open alley between yead and Logan Streets. The Mayor appointed the Road Committee and the City Engineer to investigate this matter and report back to the Council. Yr. B. A. Howard appeared and requested the City to flood•a block east of the van Buren School to be used for skating. Mr. Howard also mentioned several other blocks which'could be used for skating if the City would flood them. The Bills for October were read and on motion by Babcock, seconded by McD that these Bills be allowed and warrants be d rawn for the barious amounts all of which had been approved by the Chairman of the Finance Committee. It was moved by Fenrich, seconded by Sandmeyer that the rules requiring that the reading_ of a Bill on three separate days be s uspended and that Bill No 5, be read the second tii *e by title and the third time in full, s eetion by section and placed on its final passage. The Mayor directed the Clerk to call the roll on the Xotion with the following result: voting in the affirmative were; Babcock, MoDannsl,Stengel, Fenrich and Sandmeyer. Negative: None. Absent and not voting; Handford. The Mayor declared the motion t?ad passed by the necessary three - fourths majority and directed the Clerk to bead Bill NO. 5, the second time by title and the third time in full, section by section. The Clerk read the Bill as directed. The question then being "Shall Bill No 5, passr The Mayor directed the Clerl� to call the roll on the above question which resulted as follows; Those voting in the affirmative were: Babcoc7;, McD Stengel, Fenrich and Sandmeyer. Negative; None. Absent and not voting: Handford. Thereupon the Wayor declared Bill No 5, had passed, and the Mayor in open session of the Council duly signed and approved the Bill, and the Cleric duly signed and attested the same which became O rdinance 566. The Mayor directed the Clerk to make proper entry of the same and to cause Ordinance 566, to be p blished in the Caldwell News - Tribune, the official newspaper of the -0l'Gy of ; ^aldwell, iideho. COTgTGIL CHAMBERS, _ NOVEF?BER 20, 1939. 8;00 P.M. A Special Meeting of the City Council met in the Council Room with the Mayor, rith- h - -Mayer Edgar L. Oakes, presiding. On R011 C the following Councilmen answered present; W.E.Babcock, C. 0. McDannel, Oscar Stengel, W.B. Handford, G. m. Fenrich and M.S.Sandmeyer. The Mayor informed the Council the meeting was called to take up new and un- finished business. The Mayor read.a.bid from the College of Idaho bidding on the Bonds of Local Improvement District # 16. Thereupon the following Resolution was presented to the Mayor and Council by Councilman Handford, who moved the adoption thereof, which motion was duly seconded by ouncilman Fenrich. I RESOLUTION.
