SPECIAL MEETING
November 5, 1975
3:30 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Pasley.
The roll of the Council was called with the following members
present: Carter, McCluskey, Williams, and Banks. Absent:
Dakan and Gamboa.
(CANVAS OF ELECTION RETURNS)
The Mayor and City Council .resolved itself into a Canvassing
Board for the purpose of canvassing the election returns
of the City General Election held November 4, 1975. The
results were found to be correct and legally made and were
listed as follows:

It was then MOVED by McCluskey, SECONDED by Banks that the above
listed results be declared official.
MOTION CARRIED
It was therefore ordered by the Mayor and the Council of the
City of Caldwell that the following named persons were hereby
declared elected to the offices of Councilman for a term of
four years to serve until the election and qualification of
their successors, to -wit: Marilyn Bauman, Jack Raymond, and
Pete Olesen.
(REMINDER OF SIDEWALK COMMITTEE MEETING)
The Mayor reminded the City Council members of a joint: meeting
with the Sidewalk Committee and the Planning Commission to be
held November 12th.
There was discussion regarding having coffee and cookies at
the first meeting in January at the time the new Councilman
took office. The Council also felt that the new members of the
Council should be invited to the meetings to acquaint them with
the policies and espcially with the fiscal business, including
the budget.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at
4:00 P.M.
