The application of Tarry ^inlet' to erect sign boards on Arthur Street
between Sixth and Seventh and on the lots next to the Caxton printers was read. It was
voted upon motion of Dement that the application be allowed.
The report of the Fire (T.ief on the inspection of flues, chinneys, :wing
and etc was read.

Council Chamber, City of Caldwell, Idaho, December 6, 1916,
Council meet in regular session with Mayor Fred C, Boyes, presiding, present,
Councilmen Ackley, Dement, Forbes, Harrington and Hayman, S. Ben Dunlap, Clerk, when the
following business was transacted.
Messrs. Picard, Miller, Atchison and Momberg appeared with a complaint against
those peddlers who are peddling meat within the City limits without a license. It was
voted upon motion of Harrington that the Chief of Police be instructed and authorized to
make a thorough investigation of all meat which is peddled in the City and the source from
which it comes and if he found persona peddling meat which was not produced by the person
so peddling, or found the meat to be unsanitary or butchered in an unsanttary way to
start prosecution.
