The Regular Monthly Meeting of the City Council met in the Council Room of the
City Hall, with the Mayor, Emery L. Vassar, presiding.
On Roll Call the fallowing Councilmen answered present: Edger L. Oakes, F'. D.
Mumford, W. S. Boynton, G. M. Fenrich and W. R. Hollingsworth. Absent: G. W. Montgomery.
The Minutes of Ootober5th.,'and 28th., were read and approved as read.
Mrs. Harry Smith appeared before the Mayor and Council and presented a petition
signed by a number of property owners requesting that a sewer be constructed along the
alley of Block 12, College Heights Addition.
Mr. J. P. Lee appeared before the Mayor and Council and presented a petition
signed by property owners requesting that a sewer be constructed westward from si bhlgan to
Ohio between Oak and Linden.
The Mayor referred these petitions to the City Engineer.
Applications for earl room and pool hall licences were read from I. H. Waters,
Lindley & Rowland, S. F. Bow, Wilson Bros., and Pastime Lunch, the fee accompanying each
application.
Moved by Hollingsworth, seconded by Mumford that these applications be allowed.
Motion carried.
The Bills for October were read and on motion by Boynton, seconded by Oakes that
these bills be allowed and warrants be ordered drawn for the various amounts all of
to
an approved by the Chairman Of the rinance Committee. Motion carried.

"Thereupon the following Resolution was presented by Councilman Fenrieh:
RESOLUTION.
A Resolution accepting the Assessment 9011 of Local Improvement District No. 15
for the Oity of Caldwell, Idaho and authorizing the City Clerk to give time and place of
hearing and considering objections to said lisaessment Roll and rising time for hearing

The said Notiee'shall be in words and figures as follows, to -wit:
NOTICE Or TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING OF OBJECTIONS TO ASSESSMENT
ROLL IN LOCAL IMPROVXIENT DISTRICT NUMBER 15,FOR THE CITY OF CALD-
WELL, IDAHO.
NOTICE I9 HEREBY GIVEN That the Mayor and Council of the City of Cald
well have made an Assessment Roll of Local Improvement District Number
15, according to the provisions of Ordinance Number 533, and that the same
Is now on file: in my office at the City Hall of the City of Caldwell,
Canyon County, Idaho.. And that Monday the 23rd day of November; A. D.,
1936, in the Council Chambers at the City Hall of the City of Caldwell,
Canyon County, Idaho, at the hour of 8 o'clock P.M., has been set for
the place and time to hear and consider objections to said Assessment
Roll by the parties or any party aggrieved by said assessment. The
owner or owners of any property which is assessed in such assessment
roll t whether named there or not in much assessment roll, may within
ten `10) days of the last publication provided herein, file with the
clerk his or her obdections, in writing, to said assessment or any
portion thereof, which objections must be definite and specific as to
the property or piece of property being Included in said assessment roll
to which said objection was made, as well as specific grounds of such
objectlonF,
That said Assessment Roll will be open for inspection at the office
of the City Clerk on each and every day, except Sundays and legal holi-
days, between the hours of 9 o'clock A. M. and 5 O'clock P, M. by order
of the Mayor and Council, this 2nd day of November, A.D,, 1936.

The City Cuuncil of the City of Caldwell, Canyon County, Idaho, me# in regular
adjourned session at its regular meeting place in Caldwell, Idaho, on the 23rd day of
November, 1936, at the hour of B o'clock P. M., for the purpose or receiving bids for the
purchase of $45,000.00 Bridge Bonds of said city, and for the purpose of adopting an or-
dinance authorizing the issuance of said bonds.
There were present Mayor E. L. Vassar and the following members of the Council:
F.D. Mumford, Edgar L. Oakes, W. G. Montgomery, N.S.Bounton, G. M. Fenrich.
Absent: ', Hollingsworth.
The Clerk presented an affidavit evidencing the mailing of a copy of the notice
of sale of said bonds to the State Auditor of the State of Idaho on October 30 1936, in
full compliance with law, and an affidavit evidencing publication of the notice of sal8;,
in full compliance with law, in the "Caldwell News - Tribune;', a newspaper published in and
of general circulation in the Qity of Caldwell, Idaho, on the following dates: October 31,
