carried.
The Mayor read a letter Carom -Joe D. Wood, Director of Highways regarding improv
and maintenance of the Airport. This letter was placed on file.
A letter wgs read fwom Frank Hurt, Manager of MD Radio Station regarding
Police Radio. This matter was referred to the Mayor.
There being no further business to come before the Council it was moved by
Councilman Sloop, seconded by Councilman Thornock that Council adjourn. Motion carried.

COUNCIL CHAMBERS
NOVEMBER 1st, 1943.
The Regular Monthly Moeting of the City Council met in the Council Rooms of the
City Hall with the Mayor, Thurlow Bryant presiding.
On Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present; J. Randall Sloop, F. E.
Ndwman, Pate Olesen 0. L. Thornock and E. B. Fresher. Absent; John Finck.
The Minutes of October 4th., were read and approved as read.
The Mayor stated that after investigating Police Radio it was decided that the
City pay one -third of the cost of installation and wiring.
The Bills for October were read and on motion.:by Sloop, seconded by Clasen that
these Bills be allowed and Warrants be drawn „for the various amounts all of which had been
approved by the Chairman of the Finance Committee. Motion carried.
