In the matter of the proposed dreinate system for the Golden Cate Addition,
Pity Attorney Walters stated that he had taker the matter up with the PionF
Officials and that they would agree to drain that portion of the Golden Gate Addition
which lies outside o' the pioneer Pistrict and in the City limits, if the property
owners therein would form an improvcr.ent district, the payment of the said con-
struction to extend over a period of twenty years and no interest to be charged on
deferred payments. The attorney explained that the cost to tl_e district would be
just what it actually coat to construct the system and that the work would be done
by the Government.
Councilrrnn Lilly stated that the treater from the Pioneer ditches was
washing out some of the concrete work on the east end of Arthur Street, recently
constructed by order of the City Council. Iie explained that considerable damage was being
done because some of the ditches were allowed to overflow and '?rat he had taken the
matter up pith the Irrigation officials.
It was voted upon motion of Ackley that Council adjorn.
