COUNCIL CHAMBERS,
OCTOBER, 27th., 1941,
B :00 P. M.
The Council met on Call of the Mayor, with the Mayor, H. E. McCloskey, presiding.
On Roll Call the Following Councilmen answered present: Wilbur Dakan, F. E,
Newman, Floyd Blunt, E.E.Frasher and C. 0. McDennel. Absent: Thurlow Bryant.
The Mayor informed the Council the meeting was called to meet with Messers Horse -
fall and Edwards, W, P. A. representatives from Boise,
A six year plan for W.P. A. Projects was throughly discussed and the Mayor infore
ad these gentlemen that this matter would again be taken up in the near future by the
Council.
There being no further business to come before the Councll it was moved by Dakan,
seconded by Frahaer that Council adjourn, Motion carried.

The Regular Monthly Meeting of the City Council met in the Council Room of the
City Hall, with the M H. E. McCloskey, presiding.
On Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present: Wilbur Dakan, F.E. New-
man, Floyd Blunt. Absent; Thurlow Bryant, E.E.Frasher and C. 0. McDennel.
The Minutes of October 6th., were read and a pproved as read.
Mesaera Caldwell, Elrod said Rarris,representing the Worker's Alliance,were present
and requested Signal Light at 4th., Street and the Railway Crossing.
The Mayor informed these gentlemen that this matter would be taken up with the
Union Pacific Railway.
It was voted upon motion by Newman, seconded by Dakan that the Mayor be author -
12ed•and directed to certify to a copy of an'estimated'valuation all City property to
the Idaho Surveying & Rating Bureau, Boise, Idaho, as planned and fixed by M.D.Riner Agency
and Mitchell- Greves Agency of Caldwell end submitted to the Council this dats,tot4 ling -the,;
Bing of $76,310.00, and that a copy of this appraisal be filed by the City Clerk.
The Mayor appointed Dr. F. M. Cole on the Zoning Board.
Moved by Blunt, seconded by Newman that this appointment be confirmed. Motion
Moved by Blunt, seconded by Newman that the City donate x$50.00, towards the
s Lighting. Motion carried.
