t Motor Co., for a number of years was now stored in the irrigation department of the city shop.
Chief of Police Judd recommended Funeral Homes advise the police station when a convoy is desire[
j for a funeral procession.
Councilman Eggers reported the government was working, out a rat control program.
Councilman Burrell reported cement floors and drains had been put in the wading pool bath house,
also,the Golf Hoard had recommended enlargement of the Golf Club House.
There being no further business to come before the Council it was mobed by Councilmm Eggers,
seconded by Councilman Bettis that Council adjourn. Motioncarrled.

The Council met pursuant to call and acknowledgment of notice in the following form:
CALL AND ACKNC1MOMENf OF NOTICE.
We, the undersigned Mayor and Member of the City Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, do each
hereby acknowledge notice of a special meeting of said City Council to be held at the Council Chambers in
the City Hall in the City of Caldwell, Idaho, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P. M. on the 25th day of October,
1954 for the transaction of all business in connection with the following object: Sewage Dispopal, which
object was submitted to eadh of the undersigned in writing.

Mayor Jason G. Smith presiding.
Upon Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present: L. E. Burrell, Adolph Eggers, Ernest
Weick and L. P. Eldredge. Absent: Fran Blomqutst and J. M. Bettis.
The Mayor informed the Council the meeting was called to discuss sewerage disposal problems with
Earl C. Reynolde, Jr., consulting engineer associated with Cornell, Howland, Hayes and Merryfield.
The Mayor and Council discussed different types of sewage disposal plants. Mr. Reynolds recommend
a trickling filter plant with a primary and secondary digester. Mr. Reynolds stated the property now being
held as a disposal plant site would not be adequate for future growth of the city. Mayor Smith informed
Mr. Reynolds decision would not be made at present but in the near future the Council would visit sewage
disposal plants in Nampa and Boise,
There being no further business to come before the Council it was moved by Eldredge, seconded by !i
Weick that Council adjourn. Motion carried.
