The Mayor appointed the City Engineer, City Attorney and Oscar Stengel as a l Committee to check on the house numbers and street names in Caldwell and report back to the ;Council. Thereupon the following Resolution was presented to the Mayor and Council by ( Councilman Eabc - ,ck, who moved the adoption thereof, w'-.ich motion was duly seconded by Councilman Stengel, Resolution By Ba'`cock. 9H TT?S, the City of Caldwell is desirous of obtaining a road -right of way through 'property owned by Talter Griffith and Lewis rriffith as described by the Idaho State Department of Public Works, NOW, =FFPOF.E BE IT F.ESOLVED that the City Clerk be authorized and directed to write GValter Criffith and make an offer of 1100 for right of way through his property and to write Lewis Griffith and make an offer of 1500 for right of way through his pro- perty. A yea and May vote was had thereon with the following result: Yea: Babcock, McDannel, Stengel, Fenrich and Sandmeyer. Nay; Handford. Absent and not voting; Randford, Thereupon the mayor declared the motion carried and the R duly adopted There being no further business tc come before the Council it was moved by Babcock, seconded by Stengel thet Council adjourn. ?Action carried. y Mayor. Bow, t'e fee accompanying each application. Applications for Card Room L.Censes were read from Rummy ?rouse, P,stime Lunch, I. H. Waters, and S.F.Bow, the fee accompanying ep-bh application. . Moved by McDannel, seconded by Fenrich that these licenses be granted. Motion carried.
