It was moled by Sandmeyer and seconded by Bollman that the Council
adjourn to reoonvene on Monday, October, 20, 1930, at,8 :00 ofolook p.m.

Council met in adjourned session pursuant to law with Mayor
mo0onnal presiding, and Councilmen Bollman, Dickens, Gordon, Johns, Leighty
and Sandmeyer, present, Absent None.
Owing to the absence of the City Clerk the Mayor appointed Xr. W 00
Oyer Acting Clerk and announced that the Council was in session for the son -
sideration of any business which might lawfully come before it.
This being the time set for the oonsideration of objections to the
assessment roll of Local Street Improvement Dietriot no. 12, the Clerk
to the
presented Council and Affidavit of Publioation of Ratios of Receipt of
Assessment Roll of Local Street Improvement District Ro. 12, which affidavit
was and is in words and figures as follows, to -wit:

of the Council:

An ORDER APPROVING AND CONFIRMING THE AssEsquENT ROLL OF LOCAL
STREET IMpROvSMT DISTRICT N0. 12, FOR THE CITY OF CALDHELi, IDAHO.
It appearing to the Council that the aesseement, roll _ of1.0081 Street
improvement Distriot'lo. 18. for the City, of Caldwpll,,Idaho, hoe, boom certified to
the Council by the Committee on streets. and the -city .Dnginser of the City of
Caldwell, and was filed in the office of the City Clerk of said City, an tha 3rd
day of October, 1930, and is cow on file in seid office; and
it appearing that the 80th day of October, 1930, at S OO o'clock p.m., at
the City Hall, in said City, was fixed by the Oounoil for hearing and considering
objections to said assessment roll; and
It further appearing that the time for filing protests having expired, and
time for hearing and considering the same having arrived, and protests to their
respective individual assessments having been filed by Carrie W. Dresser of Oaldwell;
Idaho and said assessment roll having been fully and duly considered by the Mayor
and Council of the City of Osldiall -, and having been found legal, valid, correct, fair
and just, and in compliance with the laws of the state of Idaho, and the ordinances
of the Oity of `Caldwell, in all partioldlave; now, " is hereby '

assessments as shown on the assessment roll for Local Street Improvement Biatriot

denied.

1E, for the City of Caldwell, in the County of Canyon, State of Idaho, be and the same
is hereby approved ani ooifirmed.
Sea. 3. That the said assessment roll be placed in the hands of the City
Treasurer for collection, and that due notice of the time, place and manner of making
cash paymehte of the assessments contained in said assessment roil be given in the
manner provided by the laws of the State of Idaho and the ordim moss of the City at
Oa ldw011.

Mr. L. W. Caldwell appeared before the O mmoll in regards to vacating
Blocks in Golden Gate Addition. Motion by Bollman seconded by Johns that the mayor
appoint three oourtoiimen as a committee to look over Golden Gate Addition. Motion
carried. The Mayor appointed Bollman, Johns, and Diclmne with the City neere•
'This berng the time set for consideration of objections to the organisation
of Local Street Imiprovement Distriot No. 18, the Clark stated tbst printed copies of
Notice of intention to Oreate Label street Improvement District No. 13, for mailing
to property owners had not bean delivered to his office in sufficient time to give
the necessary statutory notice, by mailing, and suggested that a new date be fixed for
the hearing of such protests and That a.'new notice be given to property owners.

the 8rd day of Ootober, 1930, be and the same hereby is amended to read as follows=

" eeo. 9. That,the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give
due and legal notice hereof, and of the time within which protests against said
proposed improvement or the creation or said district may be filed and the date when
Bush protests will be heard and considered by the Council, which notice shall
describe the general character of the improvements proposed to be made and the
petimated total coat thereof, and shall parse such notice to be published in two
issues of the OalQwell.w&ws- Tribune, published at Caldwell, Idaho, the official
newspaper of said city, at least five days proceeding the Ord day of November,
1930, being the date Piled in this resolution within which pspteate may be filed;
and aadd 01-ty Clerk shall cause the Publishar'e Affidavit of said Publication to
be filed In his office an or before the time herein fixed for the hearing of am oh
protests, a copy of such notice shall be mailed at least five flays proceeding the
Ord day of November. 1980, to each owner of property, if known, or his agent if
known, within the limits of Said improvement district, addressed to such person
at his postoffice address, if known, or if unknown to the postoffice of the City
of Caldwell, where said improvement is to be made; and said City Clerk, most

Sea. 8. This resolution Shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and approval.
The motion for'the adoption of resolution was duly saaonded by
Gordon.' The question being "Shell the resolution pass? The Mayor directed the
Clerk to call the roll which resulted as follows; Thoes voting in the affirmative;
Bollman, Diokene, Gordon, Johns, geighty and Sandmeyer. Those voting in the
negative Sane. - Absent and not voting: Nome. NFhereupou the Mayor declared the
Motion carried and Resolution So b0 adopted and the Mayor directed the Clerk to
.record the same .upon the journal of the prpoeediags of the Oounoil as part of
,the.miltutee of this meeting. Thereupon the mayor in open session of the . Council
duly signed and approved, said resolution and the Clark duly Signed end attested
the same.

Westoott Allen Oil Company to build anything but fire -proof aoo'ording to
Ordinance. Motion carried.
