The dayor and Council met in regular session, pursuant to adjournement with Mayor Haley,
presidi3g, Councilmen, Conley, Dutton, Kimbrough, Mumford, MoConnel, and Wheeler, present.
This being the time to consider the bide for 600 feet of Fire Hose, it was voted on motion
of Mumford, seconded by Conley, that the City clerk be instruoped to open the bide for the same.
ter obnaidering the bids of W.G.Cowden, Butler Hdw. Co, Eureka Fire Hose Co., and A.G.
Long 80 3o., 4 motion was made by Kimbrough, seoonded by wheeler, that the bid of A.G. LOng for
600 foob of hose at $1.15 per foot be accepted. The roll was called on the same with the 20110w-

AAYES: DUTTON, AND HIMORD.
ABSENT: NONE. 8 the MW or deodared that the motion had carried, and A.G. Long and Cc. was
awarded the contract.
It was vvoted on motion of Kimbrough, seconded by Mumford, that the MW or, Dutton, and MaGonnel
be nomel a committee to investigate the trouble of the seeping ditch at the Park, near the
ftbalr7 Barn.
It mas voted on motion of Wheeler, Seconded by McConnel, that the Counoil adjourn.
