A 'Rea" and "Nay" vote was had thereon with the following results "Yea "r Glaisyer, Burrell, 1 Myers, Blomquist, Fenirch and Bettis. "Nay "s None. Absent a nd not voting- None. Thereupon the Mayor declared the motion carried and the Resolution adopted. That said Assessment Roll of Local Improvement District No. 18, of the City of Caldwell Idaho, be and the same hereby is approved and confirmed. Section 2. That the City Clerk shall immediately certify and file said Assessment Roll with the Ci�y Treasurer of the City of Caldwell, for collection of said assessments according to law; and that due notice of the time, place and manner of making these payments of assessments contained in said Assessment Roll be given by said Treasurer of the City of Caldwell,. in the manner provided by the laws of the State of Idaho, :and the Ordinances of the City of Caldwell. Thereupon Councilman Blomquist introduced Bill No 10, entitled, AN ORDINANCE RECITING THE PASSAGE, APPROVA4ND PUBLICATION OF ORDINANCE NO. 7571 DETERMINING THAT ERE HAS NOT BEEN ASSERTED ANY OBJECTIONS TO OR CLAIM OF DAMAGE ARISING FROM THE VACATION OF THAT PORTION OF THIRD AVENUE IN CALDWELL, IDAHO, LYING BETWEEN THE NORTHEASTERLY BOUNDARY LINE OF MAIN STREET AND THE SOUTHWESTERLY' BOUNDARY LINE OF THE RIGHT OF WAY OF THE OREGON SHORTLINE RAILROAD COMPANY AS SHOWN UPON THE REVISED MAP OF CALDWELL, IDAHO FILED IN THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER OF CANYON COUNTY, IDAHO, ON JULY 29, 1891 at 3,00 o'clock] P. It was moved by Councilman Myers, seconded by Councilman blomquiat that the rules requiring that the reading of a Bill on I , three separate days be suspended and Bill No 10, be read the second time by title and the third time in full p section by section and placed on the final passage. The Mayor directed the Clerk to call the roll on the above motion with the following result, Those voting in the affirmative werer Glaisyer, Myers, Blomquist, Fenrich and Bettis. Negative, None. Absent and not voting: Burrell. The Mayor declared the motion had passed by the necessary three - fourths majority and directed the Clerk to read Bill No 10, the second time by title and the third time in full section by section. The Mayor directed the Clerk to make proper entry of the same and to cuase Ordinance No 758, to be, published in the Caldwell News- Tribune the official newspaper of the City of Caldwell, Idaho. An application for narrowing Locust Street from 70 feet to 50 feet between Block 79 and Block 80, was presented tolthe Mayor and Council by John Lanning, Alice M. Lanning, Francis Darling and Lenore S. Darling. Thereupon Councilman Bettis introduced Bill No 11, entitled: AN ORDINANCE GIVING NOTICE TO ALL CITIXENS OF AND OWNERS OF PROP`rRTY IN THE CITY OF CALDWELL, THAT AN APPLICATION H.AS BEEN PRESENTED FOR THE NARROWING OF LOCUST STREET FROM 70 FEET IN WIDTH TO 50 FEET IN WIDTH BETWEEN COLLEGE AVENUE AND IOWA ABENUE, AS PLATTED BETWEEN BLOCK 79 AND BLOCK 80, MOUNTAIN VIEW ADD- ITION TO THE CIT1 OF CAWAILL, IDAHOS PROVIDING FOR FILIN; OBJECTIONS THERETO AND FOR FILING CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES SUSTAI!ED THEREBY ) PROVIDING FOR ASCERTAINING SUCH DAMAGES FOR THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL; AND PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION OF THIS ORDINANCE. which was read for the first time and the Council proceeded to a consideration of Bill No 11.
