We, the undersigned, Mayor and members of the City
Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, do each hereby
acknowledge notice of a special meeting of said City
Council to be held at the Council Chambers in the City
of Caldwell, Idaho, at the hour of B.-CO o'clock P, V,
on the 15th day of October, 1945, for the transaction
of all business in connection with the following objects:
Introduction of Ordinances altering boundaries of Class
"A" Fee Zono,Claes "D" Commercial Zone, Class "B"
Hesidnece Zone and Class "E" Industrial Zone, adoption of
Resolutions giving notice of the introduction of said
Ordinances and the adoption of Resolution for the main-
tenance of the proposed State $14ws7; which object has
been submitted to each of the undersigned in writing.
On Roll all the following Councilmen answered present; J. R. Sloop, L. E.
Burrell, 0. L. Thornock and R. H. Mc ,dTeill. Absent; Leo J. Mason and Pete Clasen.
The Mayor informed the Council the meeting was called for the introduction of
Ordinances altering boundaries of Class "A" Residence Zone, Class "D" Commercial Zone,
Class "B" Residence Zone and Class "E" 2"dustrial Zone, adoption of Resolutions giving
notice of the introduction of said Ordinances and the adoption of Resolution for the main-
tenance of the proposed State Ri -wag.

BE IT RESOLVED;
That in accordance with the procedure provided in Section 4 -922 of the Caldwell
Code of 1942:
(a) The ordinance as so proposed be submitted to the Board of Adjustment of the
City of Caldwell, Idaho, for its recommendation and report,
(b) A public hearing be held by the City Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho,
at the Council Chambers in the City Hall of said City of Caldwell, on the 5th day of
November, 1945, at the hour of 8 :00 o'clock P. V. Mountain Standard Time; and

WHEREAS an offer has been received from the State of Idaho for the purchase of
following described reel property situated in the City of Caldwell, to -wit:
A tract of land situated in the Southeast Quarter (SR-,L) of the Southeast
Quarter (SEt) ofthe Southeast Quarter (SRR4), Section 22, Township 4
North, Range 3 West of the Boise Meridian, and more particularly des-
cribed as followst-
Commencing at the point of intersection of the Southeasterly line of
Fifteenth Avenue and the Northeaster).y line of Chicago Street, in

said northeasterly line of Chicago Street a distance of 380.00 feet
