Moved by Dickens and seconded by $sister that the above bills be allowed and
Warrants be ordered drawn for the various amounts, all of which had been approved by
the Chairman of the Finance Committee. Motion Carried.
P. A. Martin, Oeo. Franklin, W. L. Bradley and Ike Waters made application for re»
newal.of their Pool Hall licenses from October let. to December 310t. 1931.
Moved by Sandmeyer and seconded by Dickens that these licenses be renewed.
Motion Carried.
Moved by Bales and seconded by Dickens that the disposal of the hay on the pity's
Cemetery farm be referred to the Cemetery Committee. Motion Carried.
Moved by Sandmeyer and seconded by Dickens that this Oounoil stand adjourned.

COUNCIL CHAMBERS, OCTOBER 13 1931
An adjourned meeting of the Caldwell City Council met in the Oouncil Room with the
ayor, hed L. Lilly presiding.
On Roll Call, the following Oounoiimen answered present:- M. S. Sandmayer, A. G.
Keister, 0. E. Bales, Joe Dickens, 0. M. Johnson and E. L. Vassar.
Rev. Freeman, Pastor of the Your Square Gospel Church, appeared and asked that the
Church might bring in Amie Simple Mo Pherson Hutton and party for a week or ten days
eating. Matter taken under advisement.
This meeting was called for the purpose of acquiring title to a certain piece of
and, containing 10 acres, said land to be used as a sand -pit, This land now belonges to
ontie B. Guinn, who has agreed to deed the said land to the City of Caldwell, if the City

Moved by Sandmeyer and seconded by Dickens that the above Resolution be adopted.
On roll call, those voting in favor were Sandmeyer, Eeister, Bales, Vassar,
Dickens and Johnson. Those voting in the negative, None. Absent and not voting, None.
The Mayor then dedlared that Bill No.# had carried by the necessary vote.
The matter of providing additional police protection was discussed very thoroughl3
and the ®atter left* with the Mayor.
Moved by Vassar and seconded by Johnson that this Council stand adjourned.
Motion carried.
