The ouncil met in regular session, pursuant to adjournment, Oct.11th 1926 at 8 o'clock, P.M. with Mayot Kerley, presiding, Councilmen, Conley, Dutton, Simbroug i, Mumford, NeConnel, and Wheeler, present. re. Anne W.Young, reepresenting the = 'orward Club of Caldwell, Idaho, asked the cooperat on - oZ the Council in the proposed swimming pool, to be sponsored by the Forward Club. It was v ted on motion of McConnel, seconded by 'Nheeler, that the City of Caldwell grant the Ladi s Forward Club of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, a franchise for a suitable tract of land, preferra 1jr;Bloek 28 pair Acres Addition to Caldwell for a swimming Yool, the city to furnish the water for the same. It was voted on motion of Kimbrough, seconded by Conley, that the dtreet Committeeman, MoConnel, and the City Engineer proceed th restore the bridge on 9th Abenue on Indian Creek between rthvr and Blaine Streets. The Oouncil met in regular session, O ctober 18th, 1926 at 8 o'clock P.M. with May-7r Kaley, preeidiig, vouncilmen, Conley, Dutton, Kimbrough, Mumford, and YoUonnel, present, and Wheeler, absent. t was voted on motion of Dutton, seconded "by Mo' ornel, that all concessions for the airy � Low for October 19th, 20th, and 21st, be referred to the -airy Show Committee, Amos J. Miller, Jae. G. Smith, and M.L.Walker. The fol owing resolutions No. 42 and 43 were presented as follows to -wit: RESOLUTION 110. 42, BY DUTTON. "A MSOLUTION AUTHROIZING AND DIRECTING THE CLERK OF THE CITY OF CALDWEDD, IDAHO, TO ADVERTI E FOR BIDS FOR THE COTTSTRUCTION OF A BRIDGE ACROSS INDIAN CHEEK ON NINTH APEbTUE SOUTH IN SAID CITY. BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and City Council , f the City of Caldwell, Idaho.: Se )t Ion 1. The Clerk of the City of Caldwell,Idaho, is hereby ot•dered and directed to adverts a for sealed proposals and bide to be received by the City Council of Caldwell, at the of ce bf the City Clerk in the City g all until the 6th day of November, 1926 at 5 o clock a P.M. for the construction of a bridge across Indian Creek on 9th Avenue South, in the City of ° aldwel , Idaho, in the manner provided for by the plans and sgpcifioations of said bridge on File In the office of the City Clerk of said City, the City to furnish all matreial for the constru of said bridge.
