suant to adjournment with Mayor Griffith.: presiding, and Councilmen Adam, Adams,
Steunenberg, Walker, Zeh, present; Sborb Clerk.
Bill No. 30, by Zeh, entitled, "An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 219
of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, passed July 29th 1912, entitled, "An Ordinance
granting a franchise to the Caldwell Traction Company, Limited, its successors and
assigns, to construct, operate and maintain a street railway system over, along
and upon the streets and alleys of the City of Caldwell, in the County of Canyon
State of Idaho, providing the manner of constructing and extending said eyatem, the
method of fixing the charges for local service, and requiring the written acceptance
of this franchise and consenting to its assign4ent," was read the first time.
A motion was made by Zeh, that the rules be suapended and the readings on three Sep-
arate days be dispensed with, and that Bill No. 30 be read the second time by title
and the third time in full and placed on its final passage. The roll being called on
the motion, the vote resulted:
Ayes- Adam, Adams, Steunenberg, Walker, Zeh -5.
Nays- None. Absent- Bardeley.
So the motion prevailed.

the question, Shall Bill No. 30 pass? the roll being called, the vote resulted:
Ayes- Adam, Adams, Steunenberg, Walker, Zeh - 5.
Nays- None. Absent Bardeley.
So '3 1 -13 No. 30 passed, becoming Ordinance No. 225.
Vuted, on motion of Adams, tlat Council adjourn until Friday, October 11,
1912 at 8 p.m.
