Warrants be ordered drawn for the various amounts, all of which had been approved by
the Chairman of the Finance Committee. Motion Carried.
P. A. Martin, Geo. Franklin, W. L. Bradley and Ike Waters made applioation for re-
newal.of their Pool Hall licensee from October let. to December 31st. 1931,
Moved by Sandmeyer and seconded by Dickens that these licenses be renewed.
Motion Carried.
Moved by Bales and seconded by Dickens that the disposal of the hay on the Oityls
Cemetery farm be referred to the Cemetery Committee. Motion Carried.

COUNCIL CHAMBERS, OCTOBER 13 1931
An adjourned meeting of the Caldwell City Council met in the Council Room with the
Mayor, hed L. Lilly presiding.
On Roll Call, the following Councilmen answered present:- M. S. Sandmeyer, A. G.
Relater, 0. E. Bales, Joe Dickens, 0. M. Johnson and E. L. Vassar.
Rev. Freeman, Pastor of the Your Square Gospel Church, appeared and asked that the
Church might bring in Amie Simple Mc Pherson Hutton and party for a week or ten days
meeting. Matter taken under advisement.
This meeting was called for the purpose of acquiring title to a certain piece of
Land, containing 10 acres, said Land to be used as a sand -pit. This land now belonges to
Montie B. Guinn, who has agreed to deed the said land to the City of Caldwell, if the City
will pay the back taxes on said land. Said land being located at 16th and Chicago Streets.
The Clerk then read Bill No. v', by Vassar as follows.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PUROHASE OF REAL ESTATE FOR BALD AND GRAVEL PITS
FOR THE CITY OF CALDWELy, IDAHO.
WHEREAS, The present sand and gravel pits of the pity of Caldwell, Idaho, are
practically exhausted and it is necessary to purchase additional real estate on which
