Council meat in regular session wit! Hayor Fred C. Boyee presiding, present,
Councilmen Ackley, Dement, TlarrinEton, Fayman and Lilly, S. Ben Dunlap, Clerk, when the
following business was transacted:
Messrs. Merman Voight and H. F. Glenn appeared, ureingi the extension of the
water mains through College Heights Addition. They were informed that the Committee were
working on the matter and that the extension would be made as noon as the details could
be worked out.
The minutes of the sessions held during; the month of September, 1915, were
read. It was voted upon motion of Farrington that the same be approved.
, The following bills were read and it was voted upon motion of Ackley that
the same be allovaed and wr rrants be ordered drawn on the various funds in payrent of the
seine as follows:

The City Fngineer submitted a special cidewall, asnessment roll, containing
assessments against the property on which concrete had been constructed during the
month of September, 1915, as ordered by the Council. It was voted upon motion of
7Jemrnt that tYe sidewalk assessment roll be and the same hereby is confirmed, ratified
and approved.
The protest of J. 71. Sherperd against t' `r order for the construction_ of a
curb along lot 12 of Bloch 50 Dever's Addition to Caldwell, was read.
Councilman Ackley reported teat, he had received bids for the printing and
binding of fifty copies of the City Ordinances as folloors: !aldm! ell. Vern, one dollar
per page, Caldwell Tribune, one dollar per page; Caxton 'Printers, one dollar and
twenty cents per page.
It was voted upon motion of Dement tlat tl Clerlc be instructed to codify
the ordinances and hive fifty copies printed.
It was voted upon motion of TTarrington Hiatt the printing of the ordinances
be awarded to the Caldwell Fews.
It was voted upon motion of Dement that tle Fire Chief be instructed to
inspect the chimneys, flues, ^lectri.c wiring and etc as required by the Ordinance
relating thereto,
Councilman T'ayman reported that Alonzo t'dhitteman had offered to deliver
oats to the City as needed at the rate of "1,30 per cwt.
It was voted upon motion of ?Ia7,m,an that Council adjorn until Monday evening,
October 11th., 1915, at 7:30 o'clock.

Council meet in regular session pursuant to adjornment ;ith vayor rred C.
Boyes presiding, present, Councilmen Ackley, Dement, Hayman and Lilly, S. Ben Dunlap,
Clerk, when the following business was transacted:
The time coming on regularly for the hearing of objections by any person
or persons aggreived by the asseasmente levied on the sprinklinT* roll as prerared by
the Street Committee for the year 1915, and no objections appearing the Clerk was
instructed to so note in the minutes.
The bill. of Charles H, Hanson in the sum of `"413.75 for drilling well at
Curtis Park and not O,TC'd by the Finance Coranittee, was read.
Councilman Dement stated that the eidewalh bridge on South Kimball Street,
near the foot of the hill, was in a dangerous condition. The matter was referred to
the Street Nmmittee.
