There tiwas presented to the meeting a form of contract vd th the Idaho Power Compan
providing For a system of incadescent street lighting, to ccntin -°e in force until Septembe:
1, 1943. This form was read at lenCth, and after consider: Lion of the same, C. E. Icl es
moved the adoption of the follo':ri.ng resolution, which therefore eras presented in writing
and read to the meeting: RESOLUTION NUMBER 7.

SdHERE.;S, There is nosy before this body for action a form of street lighting
contract, with the Idaho Power Company, which provides for an incandescent street lighting
system in this municipality -or a period extending up to and until September 1, 1943; and,
PIHERE.S, Such form of contract has received the careful consideration of this
body, and it is believed that it is for the best interests or ti;is municipality that sudE
contract be executed forthwith:
_AEREFORE, The Mayor of ',his City is hereby authorized and directed, in his
official capacity, to execute said contract in duplicate, and the Cleric of this City is
authorized and directed to affix the corporate seal of t1 is municipality to each of said
iuplicates of said contt•act, and' to attest the OLme and to certify to such duplicates as
the contract authorized by t as resolution „gd when s-ad contract has been thus executed,
ind has also bedn properly executed by the Idaho Power Company, the Clerk of this City is
hereby directed to deliver one of slid duplicates to the Idaho Power Company, and to re—
tain the other as a part of the records of ids office."
This action awes seconded by Councilman G. M. Fenrich. 1. yea and nay vote on the
adiption of such resolution eras thereupon called for and t „ken, with the following result:
Yeas: Oakes, Boynton, Bales and Fenrich. Nays: none, ab.:ent rm d not voting, Hollingswort
and Montgomery.
More that a majority of the stole number of membe°s elected to the Council having
voted yea the Mayor decL red tbre motion carried, and 'the resolution adopted.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, it was, on motion
duly seconded and carried, declared adjourned. y 1
