"I, the undersigned, am about to erect one or more dwelling houses on Lots
13, 14, 15, 1E, Block 77, Revers, Addition to the City of Caldwell, Idaho, and desire
to avail myself of adequate and reasonable sewer facilities for said premises. I
desire to conduct the sewerage from the premises above described across Freeport street,
across Lot 9 in Block 78, Devers Addition, and connect with the sewer in the alley in
Block ?B.
If permission is granted by your honorable body to cross said street and to
make said connection as above stated i hereby agree to construct sttfd sewer under the
supervision of the city engineer without expense to the City of Caldwell, to bear my
proportion of the expense incident to the construction of the main sewer, and to grant
to the said City of Caldwell an easement to enter upon the property described herein at
any time for the purposa of examining and repairing said sewer as to said city may
seen, necessary. I further agree to waive all notices, ordinances, etc. in regard to
the construction of said sewer as the property over which the same is constructed and in
which in anli event would bear the expense of said construction belongs to me, and on the
completion of said sower to tarsi th ,g :',ti G ar to :sttid city free of all incumbrances
etc."
And the same was allowed on motion of Gartin.
A notion was made by Clark that 1,15,000 be taken from the Water Works Extension
Fund and placed in the Water Works Fund. The roll being called on the motion, the
vote resulted:
Ayes -- Clark, Devers, Farrar, Cartin, Paynter - -5.
Plays - -0. Absent -- Harris. So the motion prevailed.
Voted, on notitr+ of Paynter, that the College of Idaho be given until the 20th
inst, to put in water meters and make proper connections to the city water works system,
and that this same motion b•- to apply to Fi. D. Blatchley.
On motion of Gartir, Council adjourned until Monday evening, October lo, 1910,
at 7r30 P. 19.

October 10, 1910. Council get in regular session pursuant to adjournment

The minutes of the meetings held September were read and on motion of Harris
approved.
Reports of Chief of Police, Librarian, Sexton, City Clerk, Sanitary Inspector,
Superintendent of [dater Works, and Treasurer were read and approved on motion of Clark.

Voted, on motion of Clark that the property set forth in Sanitary
Inspector's report be charged with the amounts stated for the abating of the nuisance,
and that the same be ordered placed on tl_e assessment roll as special taxes.
The claim of Edmund Spencer, one in the surr, of 917.25 and the other in
the suer of $58,00 for hauling dirt, was read, and a motion was made by Clark that they
be allowed,_ "1 ".25 "on the;Road fund and #58.00 on the General Fund. The roll being
called on the motion, the vote resulted3
Ayes -- Clark, Devers, Farrar, Harris, Paynter - -5.
Nays--O. Absent -- Gartin, So the motion rrevalled.
Committee on light not being prepared with report was continued.
TLos. H. Soule resigned as Building and Plumbing Inspector, and on motion
of Farrar, the resignation was accepted.
The Mayor arpointed G. H. Fuller Building; and Plumbing Inspector and on
motion of Farrar the appointment wqs confirreed.

A motion was made by Clark that/the X1044.54 in tiie Street and Alley
Intersection Paving Bond Fund, $744.00 be placed in a special fund to be called Special
Assessment Paving Bond Sinking Fund, and that the remainder x°300.54 be placed in the
General Paving Bond Sinking Fund, and that the Street and Alley Paving Bond Fund be
abolished. The roll being called on the motion, the vote resulted:
Ayes -- Clark, Devers, Farrar, Harris, Paynter - -5.
Nays - -O. Absent -- Gartin. So the motion prevailed.
The matter of disposing of the waste water from the new wells near Canyon
Hill was referred to the Water Works Committee, City Attorney and City Bngineer.
Wm. Hasbrouck asked permission to change the waste water ditch crossing
Kimball Avenue, and the City to change the culvert carrying the same. Referred to
Street Committee.
In the matter of appointing additional atgorneys to assist the City Attorney
in the suits filed against the City of Caldwell, the Mayor was authorized to act in
conjunction with the Sewer Comud ttee and employ such additional help, if needed.
On motion, Council adjoUrned until Monday, October B4, 1910, at 7:30 p. m.
