The Council met in regular session, pursuant to adjournment at 10 A.H. Sept. 29th,1928.
with 4W or Raley, presiding, Councilmen, Dutton, %imbrough, Mumford, MoConnel, and Wheeler, present
and Conley aabsent.

Mayor affi C ouncil and asked the Council to give consideration to the naming of one kind'of pavement
within the City of Caldwell, gpon whioh to ask for bide. It was voted on motion of Mumford, sec-
onded by S brough, that the Con oil ajourn to most October End, 1925 at 1:30 P.M. and ask H.W.
Gregory, D rector of Hig$ways for the State of Idaho to appear before the Council, concerning the

i 5 e8ey, pre iding, Councilmen, Dutton, ICimbrough, Mumford, and McConnel, present, and Conley and
Wheeler, al sent ,
Mr. H.W Gregory appeared before the Mayor aid Council and asked the same to make mown as to
whether or not the mayor and Counoil desired to call for bide on either Concrete or Bituminous Con -
orete Rag eat within the City limits, or whether it desired to sks for bids for noth types.

A RESOLIM ION REQUESTING THE STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT OF THE STATE OF IDAHO TO C ALL FOR BIDS
ON TWO rS OF PAVEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION FOR THE CALDWELL,° ECTION OF THE CALDWELL -NAMPA HIGHWAY.
Whereas,, the "sate Highway "Opartment of the State or Idsho has requested the 'kayor and Council
of the OitV of Caldwell to express a preference hetweanthe types of pavement to be submitted
to bide forimoonstruatiou of pavement on that portion of the Caldwell- Nampa ° ighway within the
City of Caldwell, in the propsed -1 'ederal Aid paving project, therefore be it
Resolved by the Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho:
Sect1ca 1. That the state Highway Department of the ° fate of Idaho, be and they are hereby
requested to call for bide on both Portland Cement Concrete and Bituminous Concrete types of
pavement-f pavement-fcr oonstruution on that portion of the Caldwell- Nampa highway known as the Caldwell
Section. A notion was made by Simbrough, seconded by Mumfiord, and the roll called on the some with
the followJng result; that the eb-ove resolution be adopted:

ABSENT: 001 M AND WHEELER. So the Mayor deoalred the motion had carried and the Resolution
adopted.,
