On Roll Call. the following Councilmen answered present: Edgar L. O F. D. Mumford, W.S.Roynton, W.E. Babcock, C. Ii, Fenrich and Norvil T. Hinds, Absent: Hone. The Mayor stated to the Council that the rend Trader had broken for the reason of long usage and parts being worn out and the Cit? was unable to repair -the same and thet It was necessary that a new machine be purchased to take the place of the grader for the purpose of grading, patroling and upkeep of the streets and it appearing to the Mayor and Council that it will be more economical for the City to purchase a patrol for the use of the street Department. The following bids were filed with the Mayor and Council from the followin7 Companies accompanied by specifications for each make of patrol, to -wit; Howard- C -oper ---------- ------------------ 6,012.00 Bunting Tractor Co ------------------------ 5,997.00 Bunting Tractor Cc- ,---------------- - - - - -- 5,988.00 Austin - West -rn Road Yaehinery Cc- ,-- - - - - -- 6,048.00 Austin- Western Road M Co.,-- - - - - -- . 6,590.00 Thereupon on motion by Ifmford, seconded by Babcock that this matter be referred to the Committee, City Engineer and the Road Foreman with power to act. A Yea and Nap vote was had thereon with the following result: Yea: Oakes, Mumford, Boynton, Fenrich, Babcock and Hinds. Nay: None. Absent and not voting: None. Thermipon the Mayor declared the motion G,,rried and the Resolution duly adonted. There beinc no further b,siness to come before the Council it was moved by Fen - rich seconded by Hinds that Council adjourn. Motion carried. Ma or. On Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present; Edgar L. Oskes, W.E.Babcock, G. M. Fenrich and lorvil T. Hinds. Absent: F. D. Idumford. An Application for Beer License by 7d Westbrook was read, t10 fee accompanythgu the application. Moved by Fenrich, seconded by Babcock that this application b7r allowed. On Roll fall the following Councilmen voted In favor of the motion. .Oakes, Mumford. Fenrich, Babcock and Hinds. Those opposeds None. Absent and not voting : Thereupin the Mayor declared the motion carried. Mr. E.E. Seammint appeared before the r'onnc-il and stated that irrigntYWRad flooded a new basement on Indiana Avenue. On Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present: Edger L. Oakes, F.D. Mum. ford, W.S,Boynton, W.L.Ba'ccock, c% H. Fenrich; Absent Norvil T. Hinds. The Minutes of September 6th, 7th, 9th, and 20th, vrere read an approved as read. The Bills for September were read and on motion. by M seconded by Babcock, that these Bills be allowed and Warrants be ordered drawn for the various amounts all of which had been approved by the Chairman of the Finance Coll•mittee.
