At this momemt J.F. Bales presented a bid but on motion of West 'Ott it was voted not t(� consider the bid of J.F.Baleg, as he and presented the same three 'ours after the time. Ne followinf bids were received on the Conatrpotion: Hartenbower Bros. $58,200.46 C.H.gelmar $6I,034.I5 J.B�orbea 861,1062.80 P Houser'Jeokard Co; $66,360.60 and The COLUMBIA TRUST CO. offered 9I for the bonds. It Was voted on -motion of Ambrough that C.H.Helmer be given back his certified check. .F.Bsles insisted that the Council should reomasider their action and open hL&'bid. No sot on was taken.
