COUNCIL CHAMBERS CALDWELL'IDAHO9 SEPTEDIBER.10,1920
Council met in regular session pursuant to adjourment with Mayor W&
Ward presiding.
The following Councilmen were present; Dunlap,Neuling,Hayman, Moore,
Sutton and Wescott.
On motion of Dunlap seconded by Wescott the levy for 1920 was made
as follows;
General 11 mills
Road 7 "
Cemetery s "
Park 1* „
Library li n
Bond and Interest 5
Total 26 mills
ORDINANCE NO.345 was read the first time.
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE LEVY OF TAX ASSESSMINT FOR THE PURPOSE OF
PAYING THE CURRENT E%PENSES OF THE CITY OF CALDWML,IDAHO,FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR .BEGINNING ON THE FIRST(lat) TUESDAY IN MAY 1 %2Q.
Motion was made by Dunlap seconded by Sutton that the rules requir#ng
the reading of an ordinance on three separate dates be suspended and that the
ordinance be read the second time bjf title and the third time in full and plaial
on its final passage. On rollbeing called on the motion the vote was;
Ayes; Dunlap ,Fueling,Hayman,Moore,Eutton and Wescott.
Nays; None.
The clerk thereupon read the ordinance the second time by title and the
third time in full and the Mayor announced that the ordinance stood for final
passage, the vote on the question qas as follows;
Ayes; Dunlap ,Feuling,Hayman,Moore,Sutton and Weadott,
Nayes;None.
The Mayor announced that the motion had carried by more than the
necessary three fourths and the City Clerk was instructed to make proper
entry and cause same to be published in the Caldwell News the official news-
paper of the City of Caldwell.
CB Motion of was made by Dunlap seconded by Sutton that the Clark
be instructed to advertise for bide for construction of sidewalks to
Home, bide to be opened September 27th. 1920.
On Motion Hayman seconded by Dunlap the City ClerkoMe instruoted
to advertise for bids for construction of Sewers # 7 &8. Motion carried.
On motion council adjourned to Sept. 20th.1920.
