COUNCIL CHAMBERS, SEPT.10TH,1923.
The Council met in regular session, pursuant to adjournment with Mayor Smeed,
presiding, Councilmen, Fouling, Harmon, Kimbrough, Rumford, and Wheeler, present, and
Robb,ebsent.
A petition, signed by F.Kemp Heath and 68 66hers, protesting against the allowing
of a p illing Station to be built by the Fletcher 011 Co. at the corner of 10th & 0 3evelan�
was presented. After considerable discussion a motion was made by dfarmon, seconded
by Feuling, that this matter should be taken under advisement until this Council should
meet again. The Mayor caused the Clerk to call the roll on the same withthe following
results:
AYES:.euling, Hannon, Kimbrough, Mumford, and Wheeler.
NAYES: NONE.
ABSENT: ROBB. SO the Mayor declared the motion had passed.
it was then voted on motion of Wheeler, seconded by Kimbrough, that the Council
adjourn to Sept.12th at 8 P.M.

The Coun611 met in regular session at b P.M., pursuant to adjournment with Mayor
Smeod, presiding, Councilmen, Feuling,Ha.rmon, Kimbrough, Robb, & wheeler, present, and
0 1- IffOrd, absent.
B No.7, by Kimbrough, entitled "AN ORDINANCE ESTABL BRING LIMITS WITHIN WHICH
OOMLMM IAL AND PUBLIC GARAGES,OIL & GAS STATIONS AND SERVICE STATIONS SHALL BE ERECTED
AND OPERATED WITHIN THE CITY OF CALDWELL,IDAHO." was read for the first time.
A motion was made by Ki brough, seconded by Fouling, that the rules requiring the
reading of a bil_ on these separate days be suspended and the bill read the second time
by title and the third time in full and placed on its final passage. The Mayor caused the
lark to &all the roll with the following results:
1YES: PMMING, HARMON, KIMBROUGH, ROBB, & WHEELER.
'IAYRS: NONE.
1BMW: MUMFORD. So the Mayor deoalred the motion had carried by the necessary 3/4 vote
:nd caused the Clerk to read the bill the second time by title and the third time in full
U26 on the question as put by the Mayor, Shall Bill No.7 past, the Clerk was caused to as.

SENT: MUMFORD. So the Mayor declared the bill had passed and now became Ordinance 4387

A motion was made by Kimbrough, seconded by Robb, that the action of the Building
napeotor inthe issuing of a permib to Fletcher Oil Co. for a Gas Filling Station at
he corner of 10th & Cleveland be sustained.
The Boll being called on the some, the result was as follows:
Ayes: Feuling, Kimbrough, Rob!T, &Wheeler.
Neyes: armon.
beent: Mumford,
So the Mayor deolared the motin had oarried and the Building Inspector sustained.
It was voted on motion of Peuling, seoonded by Harmon, that the Counoil adjourn.
