The report of the City Nurse for school year 1917 -1918 was read, approved and
ordered placed on file.

Councilman 'dard stated that he had received request that the crater main
between Ylhart's Corner and Von '9asmer place be connected so as to form a loop, that there
wore thirteen additional users in prospect and that a distance of about twelve blceks
was involved.
It was voted upon motion of Councilman i;mos J, IrIiller, seconded iULchell that
the matter be referred to the Mayor, D'inanco Committee and City i:ngineer for investigation
and report.
Adjornment.
It was voted upon motion of Councilman F. it. LSillar, seconded �+ard, that
Council adjorn until - ,7edi :esday evening Saptember 11th., 1918, at 8 o'clock P. I,[.

Council meet in regular session, pursuant to adjornment, v,ith I,Zayor F. L.
Lilly, presiding, present, Councilmen, Dickens, limos J. Miller, F. i3. 111118r, Iditchell,
Sanberg and Ward, City Clerk, S. Ben Dunlap, when the following business was transacted:

Bill No. 26, by the Finance Committee, entitled, "An ordinance providing for
the levy of a tax assessment for the purpose of paying the current oxTienses of the City
of Caldwell, Idaho, for the fiscal year beginning on the first Tuesday in May, 1918, as
heretofore appropriated," was read the first time.
A motion was made by Councilman Dickens, seconded Councilman "Lard, that the
rules be suspended and the reading on three separate days be dispensed with and that
Bill No. 26 be read the second time by title and the third time in full and placed on its
final passage. The roll being called on the motion, the vote resulted;
Ayes - Dickens, Amos J. I,iiller, F. .;. Idiller, Mitchell, Sanberg, ,lard -G.
Naves and absent -None. The 1:ayor declared the motion passed.
Bill No. 26 read the second time by title.
Bill 1Io. 2G read the third time in full and placed on its final passage. On
the question, shall Bill Ido. 26 passy the roll being called the vote resulted:
Ayes Dicken °, F. R. Miller, Kitchell, Sanberg, Ward -5.
Passed -Amos J. Biller -1.
Hayes and absent - None. So Bill 11o. 26 passed becoming Ordinance 110. 306.
