The Council met in regular session, pursuant to ad4ourniont with Mayor Smeed, presiding, Councilmen, Fouling, Harmon, Kimbrough, Mumford, and Wheeler, present, and Robb,absent. A petition, signed by F.Kemp Heath and 52 66here, protesting against the allowing of a B illing Station to be built by the Fletcher Oil Co. at the corner of 10th & 0 16velan was presented. After considerable discussion a motion was made by dermon, seconded by Fouling, that this matter should be taken under advisement until this Council should meet again. The Mayor caused the Clark to call the roll on the same withthe following results: i !I AYES :�ouling, Hannon, Kimbrough, Mumford, and Wheeler. NAYES: NONE. 0 ABSENT: ROBB. So the Mayor declared the motion had passed. It was then voted on motion of Wheeler, seconded by Kimbrough, that the Council adjourn to Sept.12th at 8 P.M. J6_' L_ Ai PRO CITY CLERK. — h MAYOR. The Coun611 met in regular session at 6 P.M., pursuant to adjournment with Mayor 0 Smeed, presiding, Councilmen, Feuling,Harmon, Kimbrough, Robb, & Wheeler, present, and IN ord, absent. 3 3o.7, by Kimbrough, entitled "AN ORDINANOE ESTABL SHING LIMITS WITHIN WHICH COMEMBO IAL AND PUBLIC GARAGES,OIL & GAS STATIONS AND SERVICE STATIONS SHALL BE ERECTED AND OPERATED WITHIN THE CITY OF CALDWELL,IDAHO." was read for the first time. A motion was made by K1 brough, seoonded by Fouling, that the rules requiring the reading of a bil_ on these separate days be sAapended and the bill read the second time by title and the third time in full and placed on its final passage. The Mayor caused the Clerk to call the roll with the following results: YES: FEMING, HARMON, KIMBROUGH, ROBB, & WHEELER. Q AYES: NONE. HBBT: MUMFORD. So the Mayor deoalred the motion had carried by the necessary 3/4 vote nd caused the Clerk to read the bill the second time by title and the t1kird time in full on the question as put by the Mayor, Shall Bill No.7 pass, the Clerk was caused to oa 1 the roll with the following results: YES: FEULING, HARMON, KI "BROUGH, ROBS, & WHEELER. S: NONE, SENT: MUMFORD. So the Mayor declared the bill had passed and now became Ordinance #387. Me Clerk was instructed to make the ppoper enft7 of the same and cause the same to e publ&Ahed in the Caldwell l �ribune, the Official newspaper of the City of Caldwell,IdahO 0 A motion was made by Kimbrough, seconded by Robb, that the action of the Building nepector inthe issuing of a permih to Fletcher Oil Co. for a Gas Filling Station at he corner of 10th & Cleveland be sustained. The Boll being called on the same, the result was as follows: Ayes: Fouling, Kimbrough, Robi>, &Wheeler. Hayes: arman. bsent: Mumford.
