The Council met on call of the Mayor, with the Mayor, W.R. Hollingsworth, presid-
ing.
On Roll Ball the following Councilmen answered present: Edgar L, O F. D.
Mumford, W,S,3oyntcn, W.E. Babcock, G. P. Fenrich and Norval T. Hinds. Absent: None,
The Mayor stated to the Council that the rond !;radar had broken for the reason of
long usage and parts being worn out and the City was unable to repair the same and that
it was necessary that a new machine be purchased to take the place of the grader for the
purpose of grading, patroling and upkeep of the streets and it appearing to the Mayor and
Council that it will be more economical for the City to purchase a patrol for the use of
the Street Department.
The following bids were filed with the Mayor and Council from the following
Companies accompanied by specifications for each make of patrol, to -Wit:

Bunting Tractor Co ------------------------ 5,997.00
Bunting Tractor Cc „---------------- - - - - -- 5,988.00
Austin- wastPrn Road Machinery Cc- ,-- - - - - -- 6,048.00

Thereupon on motion by Numford, seconded by Babcock that this matter be referred
to the Committee, City Engineer and the Road Foreman with power to act.
A Yea and Nay vote was had thereon with the following result:
Ye6: Oakes, Mumford, Boynton, Fenrich, Babcock and Hinds.
Tray: None.
Absent and not voting: None.
Thercapon the Mayor d eclared the motion carried and the Resolution duly adopted.
There being no further business to come before the Council it was moved by Fen-
rich s econded by Hinds that Council adjourn. Motion carried.

A SpecUl Meeting of the City Council met in the Council Room with the Mayor,
W. R. Hollingsworth, presiding.
On Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present: Edgar L. Oakes,
71.E.Batcock, G. M. Fenrich and Norvil T. Binds. Absent: F. D. Mumford.
An Application for Beer License by Ed 1 01estbrook was read, tre fee accompany�g;,
the application.
T:loved by Fenrich, seconded by Babcock that this application by allowed.
On Roll `Gall the following Councilmen voted in favor of the motion. • Oakes,
,Boynton, Fenrich, Babcock and Hinds. Those opposed; None. Absent and not voting ;
Mumford.
Thereupon the Mayor declared the motion carried.
Mr. E.E. Seamonnt appeared before the rolm ail and stated that irrign on ?Kad
flooded a new basement on Indiana Avenue.
The Mayor anointed Councilmen Oakes, Fenrich and Boynton, as a Committee to
investigate this matter.
