HomeMy WebLinkAbout1912-09-09city council minutesl l F / Monday evening, September 9, 1912, Council met in regular seeeion pur- suant to adjournment with Mayor Griffiths, presiding and Councilmen, Adam, Bardeley, Steunenberg, Welker, Zeh, preFent; C. T. Shorb, clerk. Bill No. 26, by Zeh, entitled, an "An Ordinance consenting to the lease byby the Idaho Light & Power Company to the Idaho Traction Company of right, privilege and franchise granted to William Mainland by Ordinance No. 203 of the City of Caldwell on the 9th day of November 1911, and to the operation by the lease of a line of rail- road authorized to be constructed under said ordinnnee and all other lines of railroad belonging to and operated by the Idaho Railway Light and Power Co, in the City of Cald- well," Was read the first time. A motion was made by Zeh that the rules be suspended and the readings on three separate days be dispensed with and that Bill No. 26 be read the second time by title and the third time in full and placed on its final passage. The roll being called on the motion the vote resulted+ Ayes- Adam, Bardeley, Steunenberg, Walker, Zeh -5, Nays- None. Absent- Adams. The Motion prevailed. Bill No. 26 was read the 2nd time by title. Bill No. 26 read the 3rd time in full and placed on its final passage. On the question, Shall Bill No. 26 pase7 The roll being called, the vote reeulteds Ayes, Adams, Bardeley, Steunenberg, Walker, Zeh,- 5. Nays, None. Absent, Adam. So Bill No, 26 passed becoming Ordinance No. 1 221. Voted, on motion of Steunenberg, that Council adjourn until Friday evening September 13, 1912, at 6 o'clock. :0��Z�X City Clerk. ! r l I , r
