Moved by Bales and eeconded by Vont ornery that Tax Levy Bill Slumber Five be
passed. The Mayor directed the Clerk to call the roll on the question os atLted, which
resulted as follows: Those voting in the affirmative were: Bales, i,^.ontgom=ry, Fenrich
and Hollingsworth. Those voting in the negative none. ,absent and not voting Oakes and
Boynton. Thereupon the Mayor declared Tai :Levy Bill Plumber Five passed, 'and in 'Open
session of the Council, the Mayor signed and approved said bill, and the Clerk duly
attested the same, which, thereupon, became Ordinance Plumber 511. The Mayor directed
the Clerk to make proper entry of the same end to cause Ordinance 511 to be published
in the Caldwell News- Tribune, the official nevespaper of the City of Caldwell, Idaho.
The above Ordinance provides for a Tax Levy as follows:
For the General Fund - - - - - 13 ?- mills on every dollar of
assessed valuation.
^or the Library Fund : - - - - - 11 mills on every dollar of
assessed valuation.
For Emergency: 1 mills on every dollar of
assessed valuation
For Bonds & Int rest Funds: - 4 3%4mills on every dollc,r of
assessed valuation.
For Street Lighting Fund:- - 3 3,4mills on every dollar of
assessed valuation.
For Local Improvement
Guaranty Fund No. 1: - -- - - - 1 mill on every dollar of

The Clerk read a statement from the City Treasurer askinF_'- for authority to
transfer funds from the following departments: Library, General, Park, Road and Cemetery,
Into the Tree Emergency Funds to take care of the tree spraying in those departments.
Moved by Bales and seconded by Fenrich that this request be allowed.
Motion curried.
