Konday, September 5, 1910. Council fast in regular session, the day being
a legal holiday, Council adjourned until Thursday evening, September 6, 1910, at
8 o'clock.
Sept..8, 1910. Council met in regular session pursuant. to,ad,ja rnment
with Mayor J. B. Gowen presiding,,and Councilmen Elmer A. Clark, M. J. Dever:,
R. Farrar, J. G. Gartin, and I. N. Paynter, present; C. J. Shorb, Clerk, when the

The roll being called on the passage of the motion ",ithe vote resulted:
Ayes -- Devere, Farrar, Oartin, Paynter - -4.
Nays - -0. Absent -- Clark, Harris - -2. So the motion prevailed,
Bill No. 69, by Farrar, entitled, "An Ordinance authorizing the municipal
coupon bonds of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, to the amount of fifty thousand dollars
($50,000) and providing for the payment thereof ", was read the first time.
A motion was made by Devere that the rules be suspended and the readings
on three separate days be dispensed with and that Bill No. 69 be read the second time
by title and the third time in full and placed on its final passage. The roll being
called on the motion, the vote resulted,
Ayes -- Clark, Devere, Farrar, Gartin, Paynter--5.
Nays - -0. Absent -- Harris. So the motion prevailed.
Bi11.No. 89 read second time by title.
Bill.No. 89 read third time in full and placed on its final passage. On
the question, Shall Bill No. 69 pass? the aoll being called, the vote resultedi
Ayes -- Clark, Devers, Farrar, Oartin, Paynter--5.
Nays --0. Absent -- Harris. So Bill No. 69 passed, becoming Ordinance
No. 184.

13111.No, 70, by Gartin, entitled, "An Ordinance authorizing municipal
cohpon bonds of,the City of Caldwell, Idaho, to the amount of twenty -six thousand
(826,000.00) and providing for the payment thereof ", was read the first time.
A motion was made by Devere that the rules be suspended and the.readings

on three separate days be lispensed with and that Bill No. 70 be read the second time
by title and the third time in full and•placed on pie final passage. The roll being
called on the motion, the vote
Ayes -- Clark, Devers Farrar, 6artin, Paynter - -5.
Naga - -0, Absent -- Harris. So the motion prevailed.
Bill No. 60 read second time by title.
Bill No'. 70 read third time in full and placed on its final passage. On the
question, Shall -Bill No. 70 pass? the roll being called, the vote resulted:
Ayes -- Clark, Devers Farrar, Gartin, Paynter - -5.
Naya - -0. Absent -- Harris. So Bill No. 70 passed, becoming Orddnance No. 185.

Bill No. 71 by Paynter, entitled, An Ordinance to provide for -the isaus and
selling of coupon bonds of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, in the sum of Sixty Thousand
Dollars for the purpose of paying the coat and the expense of the improvement in
"Local Sewerage Improvement No. 3" of the s41d City of Caldwell, as provided in the
ordinances of said city, specifying the number, form, contents, provisions, principal
and rate of interest, providing for annual levies of special taxes for the payment of
the interest, and to eonetitute -a sinkPng fund for the payment of the principal
thereof and repealing all ordinances or parts of ordinances i_�onfliet with this
ordinance ", was read the first time.
A motion was made by Devers that the rules be suspended and the readings on
three separate dayd be dispensed with and that Bill No. 71 be read the second time by
title and the third time in full and placed on �Ae final passage. The roll being
called on the motion, the vote resulted:
Ayes-- Devers, 7artin,'Payntsr - =3'. .,
