Moved by Dickens and seconded by Relater that the Park Committee look after the
matter of providing necessary toilets during the Dairymen's Picnic. Motion Carried.
Moved by Bales and seconded by Dickens that this Council stand adjourned.

5:00 P. M.
The Regular Monthly Meeting of the City Council met in the Counoil'Rooms of the
City Hall, with the Mayor, Fred L. Lilly, presiding.
On R611 Call, the following Councilmen answered present, m. S. Sandmeyer, A. G.
Reister, 0. E..Balee,.C. M. Johnston, Joe Dickens and E. L. Vassar.
The Clerk read the minutes of August let. and August 15th. , which were
approved as read.
H. 9. Haworth and Walter Griffithe were present and asked that the Treasurer
take up as many of the old Outstanding Warrants as possible at this time.
Their request was granted and the Treasurer was asked to call all Warrants
possible.
The_Olerk read a letter from The First Security Co, of Salt Lake City, Utah,
saying that the Bond Market was not good enough to sell any Bndds at this time
Fred Rowland appeared and stated that he believed that the Police Foroe could
be materially lessened.
Moved by Vassar and seconded by Dickens that we out the Police Foroe, down to
one man in theday —time and two ®en at night, thereby eliminating the part t %me,paid men.
Motion.Carrisd.
Moved by Vassar and seoonded by Dickens that the Ordinance relating to the
payment of water be enforced. Motion Carried,.
The 'Bills for August were read and on motion made by Hales and seconded by .
Dickens that these Bills be allowed and Warrants be ordered drawn for the various amounts
all of which had bee proved by the Chairman of the•Finanoe Committee. Motlon'Carried.

A RESOLUTIOR APPROVING THE VACATION OF CERTAIN FRACTIONAL BLOOKS WITHIN THE
CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO.
WHEREAS, All of the owners of all of fractional Block One (1) , Wasfangtoii,
Heights, Stsuenberg and Hand's Addition to Caldwell, Idaho, and all of fractional Block 8e

(7), Dormanre Addition to Caldwell, Idaho, have, by proper declaration, a copy, of, which is
attached hereto, marked Exhibit sA °, and made a part hereof, declared the plate of-said
fractional Block One(1) and said fractional Block Seven (7) vacated; provided however, that
said vacation shall sot affect the street platted through or upon said blocks, according

WHEREAS, All of sal`#ractional blocks are agricultural lands and it is
deemed
to be to the best interest of said City that said fractional blocks should remain

tax rolls of said City,

Caldwell, Idaho, that said vacation be, and the same hereby is, approved.
