ATTEST Mayor Lt .OUNCIL CHiOzBERs, SFPTEMBER 5, 1933. 8:00 P. M. The Regular Monthly Meeting of the City Council met in the Council Room of the City Hall, with the Mayor, Emery L. Vassar, presiding. On Roll Call, the following Councilmen vnswered present: C. E. Bales, G. W. Montgomery,e ;. R.. Hollingsworth and G. R. Fenrich, .Absent Edger, .Oakes and W. S. Boynton. 7�• The Minutes of August Est., were read and approved as read. Major Hudgins appeared and asked that the old Interurban Track be graded and gravelad:l'� to Linden. The Council dedided to have the Street Commissioner to investigate. Major Hudgins also asked that Block 77, Lots 1 to 10, Fairview be avert- ed into acreage for purpose of irrigation. Tae Council decided to ask the Pioneer Ir- rigation to do so. Moved by Bales and seconded by Kontgomery. Motion carried. Judge Heydon appeared and asked the Council to have the City Attorney co- operate with Geo Crookham regarding the irrigation ;rater on his place. The Council decided to investigate. «G - eels The — b caked permission to construct a fish pond at the air -port, for which they agree to look after the air -Dort property. Moved by Montgom, and seconded by 'Hollingsworth that the Council accept the reco:,mendation : of the Air -port Committee regarding the fish pond at the air -port, also that the City Attorney be authorized to draw up a contract to be accepted by the Mayor and City Cleric. Motion carried. Thereupon Councilman Bales introduced Bill No, 5, by Bales, entitled: AN ORDINANCE PROVID IIIG FOR THE ASSESSItiIZTT AND LEVY OF A TAX FOR GENERAL REVENUE PURPOSES FOR PAYING THE CURRENT EXP- -IdSES OF "NE CITY Or C,;ILUELL, IDnHO, FOR rHE FISC -11 YEAR_BEGII -LIlNG THE FIRST DAY OF MAY, 1933. :vhich was.regd for the first time and the Council proceeded to a consideration of Bill No. 5. A Meeting was called for 9 o'clock, d.
