COUNCIL CHARBERS, SEPT.6TH,1923.
The Council met in regular session with Mayor Smeed, Poo "at, presiding, Counoilmen,F luling,
Harmon, Kimbrough, Mumford, Robb, and Whobler,present.
The minutes of the previous session were read and a

FOR GENERAL REVENUE PURPOSES FOR PAYING THE CURRENT EXPENSES OF THP CITY OF CALDWELL, ID , FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING THE FIRST TUESDAY OF MAY, $923.
BILL NO.6, BY WHEELER, ENTITLED " AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONEY32OR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
THE FIRST TUESDIM OF MAY,1923,TOAND INOLUSIVE OF THE FIRST TUESDAY OF MAY,1924,FOR THE CITY OF
CALDWEL;.; IDAHO, FOR THE PURPOSE OF LIGHTING THE PUBLIC STREETS OF SAID CITY OF CALDWELL.
A motion was made by Kimbrough, seconded by Fouling, that the rules requiring the sding of
a bill or bills on three separate days be suspended and the bills read the a cond time b title and
the thirG time in full and palced on the it final pasGage. The Mayor caused the Clerk to 3 all the
roll onthe motion with the follwain$ result:
Ayes: Fouling, Harmon, Kimbrough, Mumford, Robb, and Wheeler.
Nayes and Absents None. S6the Mayor declared the motion bad carried and caused the Clarl to read
the four bills the second time by title and the third time in full. On the question,as p b by the
Mayor, shall Bills No.3,4,6, and 6 pass, the roll being called on the same, the result we as
follows:
Ayes- FEULING, HARAION, KIMBROUGH, MUMO RD, ROBS, AND WHEELER,
NATES AND ABSENT. NONE,. So the Mayor declared the bills had passed by a unanimous vote and now
beeame OAdinanoes #363,384,385, and 386. The Clerk was instructed to male proper entry cE the same
and cause the eame to be published in the Caldwell i ribune, the Official newspaper of the City of
Caldwell,Idahc.
It was voted on motion of Kimbrough, seconded by Harmon, that the Westoott Sales Co.b permitted
to areot Tanks tar the storage of Gasoline on their property,on Lots i to 5 Block 72 Or4nal Townsit

It was voted on motion of Mumford, aeoonded by Harmon, that the American Surety Co
relwased from their $16,000.00 Surety Bond in favor of the WesteraNational Bank
Municipal funds on deposit and in #beg lieu thereof a Surety Bon $ in the amount of
1,000.00 be substituted.
It was voted on motion of Kimbrough, seconded by Wheeler, that the Water Works
mi^ttee be given power to mot on the replaoing of Water wins 'throughout the City.
