Moved by Sandmeyer and seconded by Johnston that the matter be referred to the Road Committee, with power to act. Motion Carried. A letter was read from the Secretary of the Pioneer irrigation District asking that fJ the appropriation from the District be reduced from the 0 10,000.00, the amount made is the Apportionment made by the Council. Moved by Vassar and seoonded by Dickend that we leave the apportionment from the Pioneer Irrigation District the same as last year, 4 10,000.00, and that the Clerk be instructed to so notify the Secy. of the District. Motion earried. Moved by Johnston and seconded by Vassar that the City Attorney prepare an Ordineno providing for the depth and contents of graves in the Cemetery. Motion carried. The City Council met on this date on call of the Mayor, as the regular date, Sept. 7th. came on Labor Day. Mayor Fred L. Lilly presiding. on Roll Call, the following Councilmen answered present: M. Motion carried. The Mayor presented the matter of allowing the United States Government to move the eleotris light pble on the alley at the back of the new Pout office Building. After due consideration, the Council decided to allow the moving of said pole. Moved by Vassar and seconds& y Dickens that the b'inanoe Committee straighten up the the taxes on the Carnegie pity Library, the City Hall and Memorial kark in Local Im- provement District No. 2 and No. 4. Motion Carried. An'adjourned meeting of the City Council met on call of the mayor, with the Mayor, Fred L. Lilly presiding. on Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present: M. S. Sandmeyer, A. G. Keibter, C. E. Belo, C. M. Johnston, E. L. Vaeear and Joe Dickens. The principal object of the meeting was the making of the City Levy for the year 1931 amd 1932. The City Attorney gave a statement of the proposed levy of M mills. After `a fall consideration, the City Attorney was instructed to prepare an Ordinance making a total levy of 30 mills for the fiscal year. C. E. Bales introduced Bill No. 2, by Sales entitled: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION L OF ORDINANCE 110. 287 OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL IDAHO, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE N0. 383 OF THE CITY of CALDVMLL, IDAHO, RELATING TO THE FIRE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, AND CHANGING AND ESTABLISH& IIVG SAID FIRE LIMITS. was read for the first time, and the Council proceeded to a consideration of Bill No. 2/ It was moved by Bales and seconded by Dickens that the rules requiring the reading'
