Pursuant to adjournment of the regular meeting of AuF'ust 5th., 1935 the Mayor and Council met with the Mayor Emery L. Vassar, presiding. On Roll Call the following Councilman answered present: Edgar L.- Oaken, F. D. Mumford, G. W. Montgomery, G. M. Fenrich and W.R. Hollingsworth, Absent: W.S.Boynton, The Mayor stated that the object of the meeting was to consider bids for the purchase of a new fire apparatus. The following bids were filed with the City Clerk and opened in the Ciuncil Meeting pursuant to a call for bids, for a 500 gallon capacity pualperand hose car with booster tank and standard equipment. Howe Fire Apparatus Co., filed bids for the following: Howe Diamond "T" Machine, Howe International, Howe Ford. Howard Cooper Corpo - .•ation, filed bids for the fallowing: Seal3rave Suburbanite, 500 triple combination machine,109 horse power, Seagrave Suburbanite, 500 triple combination machine,95 horse power, Seagrave's Ford, Seagreve's Reo. Evans' Repair Shop, filed bids for the following: General Fire Truck Corp., Diamond "T" apparatus. Lodge Motor Co., filed bids for the following: International Model " 9 55" Truck. Peter Pirsch & Sons Co. filed bids for the following: Peter Pirsch Model 26 -1 triple : combination pumper and hose car. Peter Pirsch Model 15 triple combination pumper and hose car. American La France & Foamite Co., filed bids for the following: "Scout" 500-igallon pumper and hose car with booster tank, G. M. C. Type "99" Mack international Motor Truck Corp „ filed bids for the following: Type 11 50" 500 gallon triple combination pumper and hose car with booster tan Ahrens -Fox Fire Engine Co., filed bids for the following: Model "V -R" 500 gallon triple combination pumper & hose oar with booster tan Boyer Fire Apparatus Co., filed bids for the following: Boyer standard 500 gallon, triple combination pumper and hose car with boost tank. The matter was referred to the Fire Committee and the Fire Chief, with power to act and to accept and reject such bids as to them seems proper. Mr. Gaines Bow, appeared before the Council on behalf of thos holding license t sell beer and requested permission to remain open until 1:00 A. M. during Rodeo Week. This permission was granted. There being nor further business to come before the Council, it was moved by Montgomery, seconded by Oakes, that Council adjourn. Motion cart ed. City Clerk. i I'. { �I
