Council met in regular session pursuant to adjournment with Mayor Gowen presiding and Councilmen Clark, Devers, Harris, PaynteS present; Shorb, Clerk. A motion was made by Clark that the bid of F. H. Rollins & Sons for the 026,059.78 Paving Bonds and the $50,000 mater Works Fxtension and Improvement Bonds submitted August 15th, 1410, be accepted. The roll being called on the motion, the vote resulted: Ayes -- Clark, Devers, Harris, Paynter - -4. Nays - -0. Absent -- Farrar, Gartin--2. So the bids of E. H. Rollins & Sons were accepted. Bill No. 68 by Paynter, entitled, "An Ordinance establishing Local Sprinkling Improvement District No. 2, for the purpoee of sprinkling certain streets and parts of streets in the city of Caldwell, Idaho, and providinL for tl:e payment of the expense thereof by a special assessment le against the abutting property , and defining the duties and powers of the Street Committee in connection therewith ", was read the first time. A motion was made by Harris that the rules be suspended and the teadings on three separate days be dispensed with and that Bill No. 68 be read the second time by title and the third time in full and placed on its final passage. The roll being called on the motion, the vote resulted: Ayee--Clark, Devers, Harriet Paynter - -4. Nays--O. Absent -- Farrar, Gartin - -2. Bill No. 68 read second time by title. Bill No, fib read third time in full and placed on its final passage. On the question, Shall Bill No. 58 pass? the roll being called, the vote resulted: Ayes -- Clark, Devers, Harris, Paynter - -4. Naye - -0. Absent -- Farrar, Gartin--2. So Bill No. 68 passed, becoming Ordinance No. 183. ' Voted, on motion of Clark that Council ad,ourn until Monday evening 1910, at 8 o'clock p. m. in Is 0
