Motioncarried. 4 -Mayor. City Clerk. COUNCIL CHAMBERS, AUGUST 14th, 1950, 8:00 P. M. The Regular Monthly Westing of the City Council met in the Council Booms of the - Hall, with the Mayor Leo J. Mason, presiding. Upon "oll Call the following Councilmen answered present; Wm Glaisyer, L. E, Burrell, John Myers, Dale Fenrich and J. 'K. Dettis. Absents Fran 13lomquist. The Mayor informed the Council this was the time set by notice for opening bids for the con- struction of Local Improvement District # 18. The following bids were opened and read: J. Vear Van Noy, Ontario, Ore. L. A. Crew Co., Provo, Utah, C. B. Lauch L o. b Boise, Idaho. Aft r discussing tree bids it was moved by Glaisyer, seconded by Burrell that the low bid sub- mitted by C. B. Lauch Co., of Boise, Idaho be accepted. Upon Roll Gall it appeared the motion was unanimously carried. .Revised building plans for the Shorb Printing Co., were presented to the MaYor end Council for theirapproval. Ifoved by Burrell seconded by Myers that a wilding permit be issued to the Shorb Printing Co. Upon Toll Gall it appeared the motion was unanimously carried. The Mayor and "ouncil discussed adjustments in wages of the City Employees. Thereupon the following Resolution was presented to the Mayor and Council by Councilman Glaisyer, who moved the adoption thereof which motion was duly seconded by councilman Bettis* RESOLUTION. By Councilmen Glaisyer. 7JHE�UAS, it appears to be equitable and necessary under existing economic conditions that wages of the hour employees o f the City of Caldwell should be adjusted by the Mayor and Council of the City of Cald- well; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED- !,,s o Narn for r %- A. Upon Roll Call the following Councilmen answered presents Wm Glaisyer, L. E. Burrell, John Myers. Fran Blomquist, Dale Fenrich and J. M. Bettie. A Right of Way Deed was presented to the Mayor and Council by Clarence E. McSimmey and Nellie M. McKimmey to the following described property, A land 25 ft, in width, running along the North boundary of the SW of the NEI of the SF J, (S'A4NF9SE*) of section 28, in Township 4, North of Range 3, West of the Boise Meridian. To be used as a right of way for a public street. Moved by Blomquist, seconded by Burrell that this deed be accepted. Upon Roll Call it appeared the motion was unanimously carried.
