Thereupon Councilman Weick introduced Bill No 25, entitledt
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 1 -222 AND SECTION 1 -223 OF THE CAIDWELL CODE OF 1942.
which was read for the first time and the Council proceeded to a consideration of Bill No 25. It was
moved by Councilmm Burrell, seconded by Councilman Blomquist that the rules requiring that the reading of
a Dill on three separate days be suspended and that Bill No 25, be read the second time by title and the
third time in full, section by section and placed on its final passage. The Mayor directed the Clark to
call the roll on the above motion with the following result: Those voting in the affirmative were:
Blomquist, Burrell, Myers, Weick Fenrich and Bettis. Negative: None. Absent and not voting: None.
The Mayor declared the motion had passed by the necessary three - fourths majority and directed the Clerk
to read Bill No 25, the second time by title and the third time in full section by section. The Clerk
read the Bill as directed. The question being "Shall Bill No 25 pass?" The Mayor directed the Clerk to cal
the roll on the above question which resulted as follows: Those voting in the a firmative were: Blomquist,
Burrell, Myers, Weick, Fenrich and Bettis. Negative: None. Absent and not voting: None.
Thereupon the Ma /or declared Bill No 25, had passed and the Mayor in open session of the Council
duly signed and approved the Bill and the Clerk duly signed and attested the same which became Ordinance
No 799. The Mayor directed the Clerk to make proper entry of the same and to cause Ordinance No 799 to
be, published in the Caldwell News - Tribune the official newspaper of the City of Caldwell, Idaho.
There being no further business to come before the Council, it was moved by Councilman Fenrich,
seconded by Councilman Myers that Council adjourn. Motion carried.

The Regular Monthly Meeting of the City Council met in the Council Rooms of the City Hall,
with the 1layor Jason C. Smith presiding.
Upon Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present: Fran Blomquist, L. E. Burrell, J. M.
Bettis, John Myers and Ernest Weick. Absent: Dale Fenrich.
The Bills for July were read and on notion by Blomquist, seconded by Burrell that these bills
be allowed and warrants ordered drawn for the various amounts all of which had been approved by the
Finance Comodttee. Motion Carried.

LINER IN ACCORDANCE MITH ORDTFJANCE 140. 794 OF TIE CITY OF CALDY'JELL.
ITHSHEAS, the Sexton of the City of Caldwell has determined the specifications required for con—
crete valuts, metal vaults and reinforced concrete liners;
NO'JJ, THEREFORE, Be it resolved that any concrete vault or metal vault of standard manufacture shall
be acceptable in the cemetery of the City of Cald�rell and all reinforced concrete liners must be a
minimum of five (5) parts gravel, four (L) parts sand and tyro (2) parts concement with 3/8" reinforced
steel, the top of said liners to be a minimum of 2" in thickness and the walls of said liners to be a
minimum of 1 in thickness.
Upon Roll Call those voting in the affirmative were: Blomquist, Burrell, Myers, Weick and B
Negative: None. Absent and not voting: Fenrich.
Thereupon the Mayor declared the motion carried and the Resolution adopted.
There being no further business to come before the Council, * it was moved by Councilman Bettis,

WHEREAS, the assessment roll of Local Improvement district No. 19 for the City of Caldwell,
Canyon County, Idaho, has been completed in compliance with the provisions of the laws of the State of
Idaho, in such cases made and provided, and the ordinances of the said City of Caldwell, Canyon County,
Idaho, said assessment roll having been prepared and made out by the comitteo on sewers, together with
the City Engineer, containing the nanber of assessment, the names of the owner if known, and if not known
that the name is unknown, a description of each tract assessed and the total amount of the assessment, and s
assessment roll having been so prepared was certified to the Council of the City of Caldwell by the com-
mittee on sewers and the City Engineer,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho:
Section 1. That the assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 19 for the City of Caldwell
Canyon County, Idaho, be, and the same is hereby accepted and placed on file in the office of the City
Clerk of the City of Caldwell, Canyon County, Idaho. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to give due and legal notice, in compliance with the provisions of law, to the owner or owners of property
which is assessed in said assessment roll, whether named or not named, by publication in three successive
issues in the Caldwell Nevrs- Tribune, a daily newspaper printed and published -in the City of Caldwell, Idaho,
and the official newspaper of the City of Calchvell. Said notice shall state that the said property owners
may file, within ten days from tho first publication of said notice of time to file objections to said
assessment roll, objections to said assessment roll and that objections will be considered by the I+"ayor and
Council on the 8th day of September, 1952, at 8:00 o'clock P.M.
