The Mayor declared the motion had passed by the necessary three - fourths majority and directed the Clerk to
read Bill N 10, the second time by title and the third time in full section by section. The Clerk read
the Bill as directed. The question being "Shall Bill No. 10 pass?" The Mayor directed the Clark to call
the Roll on the above question which resulted as follows: Those voting in the affirmative were: Blomquist,'I
Burrell, Cleveland, Shorb, Negative: Eldredge. Absent and not voting: Bettis.

Thereupon the Mayor declared Bill No 10, had passed a nd the Mayor in open session of the Council '
dulysigned and approved the Bill, and the Clerk duly signed and attested the same which became Ordinance
No. 892. The Mayor directed the Clerk to make proper entry of the same and to cause Ordinance No. 892,
to be, published in the News - Tribune the official newspaper of the City of Caldwell, Idaho.

The City Engineer discussed with the Mayor and Council the problems encounte-ed on the billing
of water and sewer to the Occupant or Owner. II I
A request was made to extend West Hazel Street on the North side of Lots 21 and 22, also to open I
an unplatted street along the West side of Lot 22.
It was unanimously agreed by the Mayor and Council to grant this request, provided, Johnson
Avenue is opened from West Hazel to West Elm.
The City Engineer was instructed to contact property owners and obtain right -of -way deeds to put
this into effect.
There being no further business to come before the Council it was moved by Councilman Eldredge,
seconded by Councilman Blomquist that "ouncil adjourn. Motion carried.

BY CCUNCILMAN BLOMQUIST
WHEREAS, L. B. Krieger Construction Cc of Nampa, Idaho, have presented a bid in the amount of
l i 56,228.00, for the construction of a n,w City Hall, and h
WHEREAS, it appears to the best interest of the City of Caldwell to accept this bid.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City c lerk, on behalf of the City of Caldwell,

be a,thorized to execute an agreement with L. H. Krieger Construction Co, for the construction of a City
Hall building.
Upon Roll Call the fo:Llowing Councilmen voted in the affirmatives Blomquist, Cleveland, Shorb
,I and Eldredge. Negative: None. Absent and not votingt Burrell and Bettis.
Moved by Cleveland, seconded by Elomquist the City accept the bid of Washington National Insuraneeil
Company for group insurance. I
