C000il met in regular session persuant to adjournment of 'August 1, 1927, with
mayor Dunlap presiding and the following Councilmen present; Davis, Dutton, Hoffman,
Jackson, Mc6onnel and Mumford. Absent; None.
It was voted on motion of McConnel, seconded by Mamford, that the Mayor appoint
a committee to draft resolutions on Irhe death of Wm. Bischoff, Superintendent of Parka.
The Mayor appointed Hoffman, Dutton and Davis.
The Mayor appointed C. C. Gurwell as Superintendent of Parka.
It was voted on motion of Mumford, seconded by Hoffman, that appointment of
C. C. Gurwell as Superintendent of Parke be confirmed.
The Irrigation Committee reported as not berg in favor of vacating Block 1 Plash.
Heights and Block 7 Dorman's Addition. The said committee recommended the vacation of ce
lots and blocks as may be designated in Mountain View Addition. The Mayor appointed Counc
man Mumford and the City Attorney to draw an Ordinance covering the same.
The Mayor appointed Jackson and Dutton as a committee to secure certain vacant le
in the business district to be used for Auto Parking. Also to have them put in shape by
clearing them of rubbish and made ready of parking.
It was voted on motion of Jackson, seconded by Hoffman, that the Council accept t
opinion of the General as handed down, relative to the City Treestcrer collecting
Special Improvement District Taxes, as enacted by the 1927 Legislature.
It was voted on motion of Ilumford, seconded by Davis, that a warrant be drawn on
the Irrigation•Pund for freight in the amount of $282.24, and a' warrant on the General
Fund in the amount of $300.00, payable to the City Clerk's Revolving Cash Fend. This fun
to be used by the City Clerk to defray incidental current expenses of said city which may
arise during the month prior to each regular monthly meeting of the Mayor and City Council
